You could invade with a few soldiers but keep using mass drivers and make the planet uninhabitable. Nothing like having a moon sticking out of a planet to make it hard to colonize.

I got to agree with Surelle. Those military star bases are a saviour sometimes. I usually put them so they ecompass one of my planets. It really helps in defending with all those bonuses.

I was wondering if there is a way to do counter-espionage. Don't like the idea of my empire being spied on.
