The total war series are a good example of an AI ganging up on you, the human player. It renders any diplomacy etc in the game pointless, and means that you are basically having to expoect to fight everybody at once. I don't think that would work in the Gal Civ world, especially not if you choose to go for a Tech or Diplomatic Victory. And aren't the 0,0,0 stat ships there mainly to stop a transport rush to conquer the planet?

I am not a nerd! I am a steel worker who spits on the floor. I race and ride motorcycles. I have a beautiful wife with whom I have great sex with. I drive a 1992 Dodge Ram 4x4 Course you do...

The HP thing is being missed here, I have lost a lot of small ships due to the fact that I can't destroy large ships in one shot, whereas they gradually pick off mine shot by shot. This is especially the case if you are playing a 'stratergist' style game, or similar, where the tech difference is not great enough to give you a significant tech firepower advantage.

There is a tick box on the upgrade screen, just below the picture of the ship. if you select it, it will show you the cost for all your ships, including those in orbit etc.

I have just become the most powerful military civ in the universe, when i 'find' a Ranger. Interestingly, the description didn't mention (as it normally does) that is is immensely powerful - probably because it isn't compared to my own ships.

The Yor aren't that powerful, I have noticed that you are more likely to be attacked, and seem to have a big disadvantage in Diplomacy compared to other races. Nothing is 'broken' !

Will you also give us the option to disable the colour coded influence overlay on the mini map until we meet the randomly generated opponents. There's not much point in not knowing who you're fighting if you know who you're fighting on turn 1. Kind of ruins the surprise I agree with that.

It is too easy to be able to react against others weapons by grabbing the tech through trade that you need. Which is a pity, it means you don't really get a nasty surprise when you realise you are 6 techs away from having an effective defence/attack.
