the game WILL tell you if any race has been conquered, whether you know about them or not. So if that's the case I'd say there are alot of people just not paying attention. I've seen this "bug" once or twice, but it's not consitent so whoever said it was a random number now is probably right. Although I think it should be a slider as well.

i've had the experience about 5 times now of the computer being at war with me, then all of the sudden then are at peace. no declarations, no talking to me about it. just sudden peace. I don't liek it because i am about to make surgical strikes at starbases and then i am risking allies coming in if they obtained them while we were at war.

all I see from this company is a stellar degree of support and customer service, along with innovative ideas and dedicated staff. I find I wait a month or even two for some of the more unreliable companies games to land in my hands. I will not buy an unfinished product. Some of my favorite games are plagued by bugs and only modders come to save them. Not so with Gal Civ 2. A fantastic update, then another? What more could anyone want? I pla
