the how to was written in june. as far as lan games go i think the updates have renedered that "out of date". For example: the line "If you're playing on a LAN, the player who will host the game should click on the LAN checkbox up near the server address and click on Yes when the prompt comes up asking if he wants to run the LAN server." doesn't seem to apply. there is no lan check box.......or i can't find it. still haven't been able to set up a lan game with retail version patched to 1.5</p
i think that is outdated after last patch. at least in regards to lan gams
thanks for the info. I've had galciv 2 since it came out and think stardock is about the best publishing company out there. Of course galciv has no multiplay so this never came up before. Once again thanks
I know you can use one registered copy of the game for LAN use. That is what my brother and I are going to do. I have the game and have it updated to latest patch. My question is: When I install the game on his computer, exactly how do I go about patching the game?
Just like to add, i have played every version released, had no major problems, game has run fine. I had maybe one CTD with the first beta, but since then no probs at all. Fantastic game, Great support. You guys at Stardock, Keep up the great work
