I found my problem! I use xfire extensively, and its hotkey was tied to CTRL-# (character just to the left of the keyboard's main '1' key, not the keypad's). Sins' default key bindings has # assigned to empire view pinning, and ctrl does something else as well. In any case, the in-game mouse cursor changes to reflect the change that ctrl does, so I can just push that again to cancel it.
Dunno if it's post-1.02 because my issue is related to a bug while I'm in an Ironclad online game (tried as both host and as a joiner). I updated my game through stardock's Update button. I did not try an ICO game while I was in 1.01, but only post-patch. Also note that the issue doesn't affect single player gameplay at all. I've been able to successfully play a full game under 1.01, and just testing it out in 1.02 doesn't reproduce my problem. The problem (again, inside an ICO
I have not been able to get the metaverse to accept any of my game scores in the last 3 days. I sign on, play the game, and then instead of asking if I want to submit the score, I just wind up back at the main menu. I have checked to make sure that I am logged in, but for some reason the game/metaverse will not let me submite a score. I do have the 1.0X patch. </TA
