I have finished three games now, two since I have seen Metaverse working, one started and finished yesterday, but I don't see a hall of fame score, so I am assuming my games are not making it to Metaverse, is it because I am playing on steam perhaps? Just curious on the why's and what fores. Thank any and all who post for their time. Salute
The only way to take off fog of war is to implement a specific cheat code. Not sure if you want to continue to pursue that or not. Good luck.
Okay I think I figured it out, it must have been updating right as the Metaverse updated, and for some reason this caused a slight delay in posting. Thanks
For my main character I have posted fine for the first 14 games, but seem to have hit a glitch on game 15, the game itself tells me it posts to metaverse, updates my score and medal profile, but on the online version, the game and update is not showing up. I have a screen print of what the actual game says the online version should look like. Just curious if maybe I am not the only one seeing this recent bug. Thanks for any help.</fon
If I recall if you edit your character there is a button called default, if you highlight that I think they start displaying. For Race Victories Medal, it is under the Galactic Legend, just above the 5 game winner medal, just curious if it is in use, and what the criteria was to obtain it.
Found a planet class 19, five turns later I got the precursor notice about the planet quality doubling. Size 38 Sweet!!!

Just adding my two cents, I feel Citizen Ocativusiii is on the money with his point, GC2 is GC2, and we should not expect it to be a MOO2. The game you should be complaining about, is MOO3 and your support on that point will be legion. I also have found myself comparing MOO2 to GC2, and though the games are not intended to be the same, I have to say GC2 is a heck of allot better and more in the spirit of MOO2 then MOO3 ever came close to.

First off, this game rocks!!! Also I love the Metaverse, so this is in no way a gripe. I was just curious if we could get an explantation on how we obtain some of the cool medals that you have made available to us. In particular I see a race victorys medal, what is that one about? Also I was wondering about the status of the Former medals, former 1st, 2nd , 3rd and former top 25, they seem to have gone away? It would also be nice to understand the rank struct

I looked thru the manual twice, but I must be skimming over it. Can anyone explain how to drop a rally point, I have clicked on the ship destination screen, where it says to set, and gives a map, but when I hit the set button nothing seems to happen. I would really like to get in and mess with the Rally point govenor but hard to do with no rally points. Thanks for any and all help.
Does anyone know where a print out of the Tech Tree might be located? I assume it might be in the Databank in the future, but currently not there. I was hoping perhaps a fan site, might have mapped this out or put it in excel format etc... Any help appreciated. Thanks much
Just a quick question, I have made my account, and already completed one Metaverse game, so I started a second, about half way thru the game CDT unfortunatly, so I reloaded off an auto load and continued on, when I finished I had almost doubled my score and was quite pleased, however there was no option to post to the Metaverse. I assume the CDT had something to do with that. So my question basicaly is: Is there a way to know your playing a game that will get posted to Metave
I am very new to the Metaverse, so maybe this already exists, but was curious if a medal for the fist time you win with a type of victory might be an idea. 1 for your first Research Victory 1 for your first Alliance Victory 1 for your first Influence Victory and of course 1 for your first Conquering Victory. Anyhow just a thought, there are some great suggestions above as well. Thanks
