I have come across two times in two separate games around turn 200 in which the game freezes and doesn't respond. On time I changed the technology I was researching and the game continued on after that. The second time it freezes up when I hit the next turn. How do I send a copy of the save game file for review?

They may be overpowered but the are fun. One option I was thinking of is that if they lose fighters they should either have to go back to a shipyard and fortify it to rebuild them or have to have an option to rebuild the fighters, similar to that of the upgrade function to rebuild the fighter. Another option would be to have a factory module on board of the ship that would specifically be used to rebuild fighters. This would be a higher tech level. I do agree that th

It is early in the morning and almost forgot that I was completely addicted to the Call to Power series by Activision. I loved this series. I also did lose some sleep over Alpha Centauri series. If 5 We're Seven they would be on the list.

Pretty standard choices. 1 ) Civilization 4 2) Birth of the Federation 3) Galactic Civilizations 2 4) Master of Orion 2 5) Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes I do have two honorable mentions: Emperor of the Fading Suns Old SSG game Reach for the stars There were some really old ones like Empire that came out in the 80s before MOO and Civilization that I can't remember. My

Earlier there was a post about upcoming PC Games. It seems like both the Android and Ipad games seem to be gaining steam especially since the IPAD is now 64 bit. I have been trying to look up information on Stardock's upcoming IOS games and there is little info on them. I really enjoyed Dead Man's Draw. I think it is a fun quick game. Both Baldur's Gate I and II seem to be great conversions to IOS. I wonder if they will do an icewind dale. It is also great

There are several games that sound very interesting. Some on the PC and some on the IPAD. Shroud of the Avatar(Looking pretty good. Looks and feels like an Ultima) Wasteland 2(seems like everyone agrees on this. I am debating whether to join the beta on this) Exiles (IOS)(I loved Ravensword) Galactic Civlizations 3(of course) I am hoping that Disney will allow 1313 to go through. This sounded like this game had serious potential. I am sure

The game is definitely in the good to very good range now. It is much more refined than War of Magic. I also am liking the way Stardock is utilizing some of the cool things about Galactic Civilizations 2 such as outposts, many of the diplomatic communications and options, and the unit upgrades. Like some other players I think that you should be able to upgrade the outposts similar to the way they were updated in Galactic Civilizations 2. When playing on normal

I love the 4X games. One game that I think should be remade was the extremely underrated game Emperor of the Fading Suns . What impressed me most about that game was a distinct history and distinct setting. It took the gothic sci-fi to the extreme and when playing the game you felt that you were in a gothic sc-fi setting similar to warhammer 40k. It would be great if this game were updated because it would feel different then a lot of the curre

I find where the dump logs are located but when I try to open a program my computer tries to continually open windows and close them immediately. Is there a specific program I need so I can actually read the report? I am running windows 7 on a t8100 computer with 3 gigs of memory.

I have been hoping for carriers also. I know that there have been several posts about this, the most simple solution would be to have hangar bays that cost additional logistical points that would have a mini shipyard for small, and medium fighters. The small fighters would be roughly equivalent to tiny craft, and the mediums roughly equivalent to small craft. These fighters would be connected to the hangar so that if the carrier were destroyed these fighters would also be destroyed because of la

Yep, I just researched the whole line of projectile weapons and the only one to appear in the shipyard was the quantum driver iii. There was no other quantum driver, hd spike driver, neutrino projectile, and black hole gun. They did not at all appear in the shipyard.

When I research the technology for projectile weapons I am only able to attain nano-rippers. Any of the technologies beyond that are researchable, but they do not appear on the weapon list when I am designing a ship. This has happened in multiple games for me.

I ran into the same issue towards the end of the game when I was invading another start system and also in my own star system in which I controlled all but two planets. I took out all of the transmission towers and the planets still repopulated themselves. I even decimated both planets. I think this is an issue that needs to be fixed.

As I have been playing the beta the pirates have seemed incredibly overpowered and aggressive. Would it make sense to allow a player to be able to counter their bounty with a bribe to turn them into privateers. It would be kind of cool to create a black market structure in which you can hire these privateers as mercenaries to help defend your territories against opponents or other pirates. This would allow a line of defense in your home worlds when your fleet is out conquerring the opponents
