I just can't help but be reminded of Hyperdrive when I read this thread... building a massive Doom Ray but due to a clerical oversight not actually being able to USE it in any of your ships. --- For I now have a weapon of unimaginable power… The DOOM RAY! Watch as my doom ray disintegrates him…. IN UNDER 3 DAYS!

I checked the sound settings in game, tried increasing and decreasing the slider, enabling and disabling sound as well, no changes. I will try uninstalling and re-installing the game. Thanks

No sound AFTER patch... in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I downloaded the most recent update through StarDock, installed it and now when I load the game I do not get any music, or any sounds at all it would seem. Any suggestions or has anyone else run into this problem?
