I know this site is in Polish, but as far the download speed & capacity goes, this service is very good (of course free of charge). Just click the standard browse button, and you get it: http://odsiebie.com/upload.html P.S. AFAIK there are no limits/banners etc.

Yeah, but I ment that if I put more broadcast centers, I will get higher max/available allegiance; not only the speed of gaining the allegiance will change. So basically the all./max all. ratio is always the same for each planet; while the max all. is changed due to culture & distance to capital? So how to increase the allegiance, not changing the max allegiance?
Hi everyone! For some time I've been wondering what are the exact mechanics of money/resources & allegiance synergy. In theory, the more liked is your empire on a specific planet, the bigger the economy output on the specific planet. That said there are a few things unclear for me, namely: 1. About the money gain: does the trade/population income is affected by the allegiance? 2. Having the capital closer to a particular planet makes the max allegiance bigger
If the pirates are getting lots of love in the next expansion I hope that diplomacy, culture & AI will get some attention too.
Missle Barrage doesn't win games sometimes, it's more like: "I got a Marza lvl6 - you can type gg. Have a nice day :)". Obviously you have to know how to use and when to use it, but I am quite sure that it's one (and probably: the most) of most game changing abilities present in the game. In order to make similar damage using Advent army, you have to have 3 caps, micro them skillfully (due to very short abilities duration) and pray that enemy will position his ships 'properly'. And how is tha
How can one make his/her income equal to 0 ??? I mean, c'mon it's like expanding without buying any planet upgrades on a several planets. And that is not good, DEFINITELY not good. You should always have ~1k gold, 100 met & 100 cry before you colonize any planet. You can of course destroy the opposition in the gravity well, but still collonize when you have enough money. Those are my 0.02€. Cheers!
I am not lazy or completly dumb, but can someone explain to me how to operate the black market screen? I mean the setting price thingie.
Too expensive (cost & supply wise). Too fragile. And while you got your Caps, who needs 'em?
I know there are couple things added in the Ent. addon/expansion (and the next ones), so my list my overlap with the features already/to be implemented: § More uniqueness I know it gets old, but in my opinion the races should be more unique. Placing tradeport tech at 2/3/4 level doesn't make each race much different. Let every race has one special kind of a fighter & frigate (not just carrier / LRF / bomber / striker / etc.). Also, let the techs be
Thanks. I think I'm gonna have to check it closely in-game. Cheers!
Hi everyone! Lately I've been playing with my beloved Advent, and during all those games I am confused about the Mailce ability (I almost always get the Mothership as the first cap). In the description, it's written that all enemy crafts that receive damage share 30% of it (after/before modifiers - doesn't matter) to all other enemy ships in the radius. That said, I wonder, why I am always forced to select an enemy ship before I can use this ability. This way, it seems that only da
It's like finding a ZOD rune in Diablo 2 Exp.
O M G Show me just one game that had so many things added/revamped in a single patch...
YES. Ahh, at last. Now let's see ....
Sorry - war is war. Of course, good factions shouldn't be able to nuke planets, but evil one, why not? C'mon they don't care so much about their own citizens, so what can stop them from blowing up planet full of tree-hugging Altarians ?
Double post.
To my understanding the game favors offensive side which is attacking a planet, as you SHOULD build ship and fight in the galaxy, not on your planets, which can be mass driven... Said that, I wonder how hard it can be for you to recapture the planet. Simply make new soldiers, develop new techs and get rid of 'em! GL
I bought the game in www.game.co.uk shop - they had it, and they send it to me quite fast.
I've asked this question on irc channel, but noone could anserw me, so I would like to post it here: I started the campaign missions. In the first mission right off the bat I emerged into starship designer. There I tried to make some simple colony ships but obviously with some nifty additional parts. After puting an ion engine and colony module I ran out of space. I was shocked as I previously saw that the original design had 3 Life supports
"No tech trading option" --- This is a nice option, but I see it as somewhat half measure - it gives you two options: play with AI 'cheating' or don't play with tech trading at all. My opinion is to 'simply' tweak the tech trade mechanism.
Stardock, I owe you one! A few hours before I ordered the game in game.co.uk. I was hesitating, since even being RTS / TBS gamer, I tended to frown upon 4x games, but after seing how well you care of your customers and how good your bias towards gamers is (ie. no super-duper protection against hackers) I bought your game - you deserve it. Although 45$ is quite much for a game comparing to game prices in my country - which are ~28$ - I do bel
As it was said - you want to rule the earth or the galaxy? Pretty easy question, if you ask me .
GeForce 4 440 ... omg, you really should consider buying something new. GeForce 6600 is worth a look, but maybe they (ATi or Nvidia) released something better since I lurked their products.
I do not posses the game yet, but how can enemy (alien) ships cross your borders and place entertainment starbases near your planets? Or maybe he does simple 'influence bombs' (like in Civ 4), so that he builds starbase in HIS territory, but eventually he will broaden his influence on your territory. In the end, there is always one soultion - WAR!
