It took some time for ICO community to adjust to new changes and develop most efficient early game strategies, and general consensus seems to be that balance is... well, !@#$. Obvious reason for current state of balance is introduction of corvettes. They started as useless, then ridiculously OP, now slightly less OP but still not balanced.. at all. So what's wrong with corvettes? Their speed and generally high damage o

Corsev needs nerf but problem lies not in this, or any other cap but in the way corvettes have changed balance of the game. Early game fights are now low dps, so any cap with AoE is crazy good since you can't just chase it off with LRM. This is unacceptable. This game has become boring spamfest not requiring any skill whatsoever. If this won't change I'm going to just stop playing Sins. edit: oh and anyone who thought that giving AoE dmg and passive tanking ability o

It would be nice to have official dev response regarding reasons for this buff, and whether it can be rolled back or not.
It usually takes less time to build RB than to kill SB.
That's particularly large grav well. You only need to SB few choke points, preferably asteroids or moons.

That said, they only buffed the range by 1000/2000. Considering the gravity wells in Rebellion are bigger shouldn't that somewhat even out the percentage of the gravity well entrance, compared to Diplomacy? Sure that still leaves the loyalists able to use two starbases but that requires a level 8 tech, so it w

[quote who="TerribleNate" reply="3" id="3145070"] quoting post I have consulted several skilled players and all agree that this buff is totally uncalled for and will have negative impact on gameplay. Please, reconsider rolling back RB to it's previous values. Please don't provide hearsay as evidence of a needed change if said skilled players feel this issue is worth voicing concerns over they can do so here on the forums.
Although corvettes seem to be fairly balanced now, there is one thing that I believe requires adjusting- damage vs capital armor. It's not raw dps that's bothering me, but fact that because of huge speed advantage corvettes can chase down and kill your cap, no matter what clever evasive maneuvers you will pull off, and quickly return to the battlefield. Even in days of LRF spam it wasn't all that hard to shake off chasing frigates. This forces you to keep your cap
Increase in range of red button now makes it far easier to fully block 1 phase lane or 2 partially. Moreover, TEC loyalist can now fully lock 2 phase lanes. This will create many stalemate situations, making some planets completely unaccessible. As usual, TEC seems to be best equipped to counter this newly buffed ability. I have consulted several skilled players and all agree that this buff is totally uncalled for and will have negative impact on gameplay. Please, reconsid

I'd say average 5v5 is 1h, ofc unless everyone starts spamming turrets on their HWs.

Funny thing is, even Ogrov can target mines.
Actually I'm fine with Wail, and concept of such weapons in general, as long as every race has something similar... and some kind of counter, even if it's not very obvious. Otherwise, we risk Sins becoming spamfest.
