Alright. Lately, I've been getting into more issues with running older games on my system: Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit Creative Audigy 4 Intel Core 2 8500 3.1 WolfDale GeForce 260 V1 (816 MB) 4 Gig DDR2 1066 So far, I've actually had great success with most of my collection, though Star Trek Armada, and Armada 2 have become a thorn in my side. The former can actually install, but does not play. It simply crashes after the splash screen, Yes I've tried all those

Darn it! Anyway... sigh. Windows 7 is out on RTM. A lot of major companies can get it right now. I will point out: How do you think theirs already drivers for Windows 7 ;) Got Windows 7 Professional 64 bit :) with key. (Which is the necessary part... MS wants key money. >.>) Just Installed Fences, and can confirm it does not run at allll, or rather it does, you can't see em! Lol.
My desktop has never been so cleaner, and since I've installed in a second monitor, I have two setups. Object Dock, and miscellaneous fences on the secondary monitor, and fences related to containing games on the primary desktop. Awesome.
What the heck.... reminds me of the 1G limit of MOO3... You hit 1G game crashes.
So I did quarter flip >.> anyway. I have Twilight of the Arnor, and everythings working fine, great really, but I have noticed something...... different in my game now. I have already played a few dozen times and not seen this... and thats this: If I GET over 20K, I start losing money. If I am under 20K I make money... what? I am using a custom civ (no changes to anything in the game just a custom civ I made within the game with the custom civ maker) and I've not seen TH
I moved the "temp" folder to my "downloads" folder on my Aux Partition. So alls good. Just needed a proper install directory. Thanks :D
Its been a long time since I've been to these forums. Damn... too long, heh. Anyway... I got Gal Civ 2 and all, and I want to install it again. Well I don't have my discs on me so I decided "What the Heck, I'll try out that StarDock feature they promote and all" and well I go do that. heres my problems: Installs fine, I bet it'd play fine, but if it goes on C, I'm screwed. C drive is my System partition, its also a lockdown partition. Nothing but those already "cleared" to run on tha
Can't use USB Thumbs? Most libraries I know will allow that.
hmmm, one thing I reallly really want to know is if the starbase designs will differ from race to race? Eye Candy sure, its awesome, but its cooler to know that design could differ from group to group like ships do
Supreme Commander... grand looking game... couldn't stop watching the trailer over and over and over again. Playing it right now, come to think of it. Nice ambience. Never got into TA. I own it... but never got into it... I couldn't even beat the Single player aspect of the game, which is deffinatly saying something. I only played TA within this year... didn't own it till this year... hell, never heard of TA till 97 in a PCGamer Magazine, back when they gave free cds with their mags. I still got
I've never had problems with .Net, those that have, are those who use Apple machines, and just use the XP OS to play games.
That'd be really nice to see. I mean c'mon, you would still have some of your "Loyal" Followers around somewhere wont you? and maybe you could have a clone of yourself, and know whats going on, lol.
It does, they stated they fixed that, Econ Stations provide bonuses to all three. Soc, Mil, and Res.
sounds good, but your "Ally does 100% Pro" you do "100% Research" just cuz your allied is flawd too
#3: Ability to create specific techs that would allow moonbases of various function (bonuses to home planet). That'd be cool. #4: Wish we had a new development module for ships (constructors?) that could create artificial
The Moon Project is okay, adds some new stuff to play with. Don't need Earth 2150 to play, pretty much a Stand Alone. I do not know about Lost Souls. Or Earth 2150 to begin with LOL. I never got those, just picked up Moon Project one day, rescued it from the local 10$ bin in a Game Store. Overall, the games are pretty great, unbalanced or not. Non of the Races are supreme <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALI
Alright right now I just noticed this. the below is a link defining. I was playing around with my Custom Civ, and for some odd reason when I reloaded a earlier save of my Civ, it added on to it... I think thats the word cuz my ABILITIES were well... increased. and could still play the game even though I had some items in the red. For clearities... When I "loaded" my saved civ, the current civ was altered, but it seems that Abilities just got added on i
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Too bad you guys can't nab Earth 2140 but anyway, OOOOOO for Earth 2150 Trilogy
funny... a Mino Race actually became a Major Power once in a game... it was scary. He owned a quarter of the "Large" map, the Torians, and Drath kinda sadly enough met their end against them... but then again they were too busy fighting each other... hehehe...
mmm odd... Happened to me. but I think I got out of it, I don't remember...
Did you try Bribing them?
I haven't seen random evens after Xeno Ethics.
From what I noticed, it does neither... LOL.
I've not had any crashes with the Beta Version 2. No problems, and I LIKE the Social moving to the Military, and for some odd reason, population seems to be a real needyy for Production, and Research, cuz I had 21 Billion on a planet, and even without any Production Buildings, I could just finely build anything. Which I like, if POP is so needed, then it makes it worth it to build at least one Farm on every planet <img src="http://images.stardock.com/g
Cool, a patch, hopefully all will run well when I get my Alienware laptop during my AiT.
