Do you people look at the date on this post? No offense, but this post was dead a looooong time ago until that damn recent posts thing revived it.

I couldn't agree with you more Jythier. Thats why I am cutting back on games and focusing on other stuff like working out. But lol! i could imagine you playing halo on multiplayer and preaching to the guy you just fragged!!!
huh? Why would you want lock your own post? Unless you were being sarcastic Because he dousn't want his thread to be a source for nasty conflict. Remember that this forum is like a club, if you wan't to fight, you get thrown outside. ahh...then he shuldn't of made a whine and rant board!!
requesting this post to be locked. huh? Why would you want lock your own post? Unless you were being sarcastic.
I *was* addicted, but since DA has lagging, it killed my addiction with deadly haste!
When I'm the Korath, I'm gonna nuke the entire Torian FRAKIN race!
Thanks Belanos! Can I ask you: what is that a picture of? Some kind of rock beast? Obviously not a Babylon 5 fan. That's a Vorlon. It's what I've named the custom race I play with. A Vorlon? Must not be a Babylon 5 fan! For anyone that doesn't know what mine is, you must not be a Halo fan!
I have noticed that in the "Recent Posts" list on the Homepage is constantly reviving posts that have long been dead. Posts from long ago in 2006 have popped up, thus fooling people that these are "New" posts, when in fact it is post necromancy. This is crazy, I get posts back from August 2006 or later that haven't been responded to in a year! I'm not accusing anyone in particular, it could just be a forum bug, but it needs to be stopped. Edit: I also see old posts and journals constan
What? Another old revived post?
lol, the AI is stupid when it comes to this regard. Even if you have a military rating that is 500X the size of theirs, they stiff you! Here is an example of how dumb the AI thinking pattern is is: "The US is now like Nazi Germany, it has a military force that is unrivaled through out history. We (the bad guys) ask brazil for huge cash sums, while Brazil may have an army, it will never be able to stop us. They say piss off! We declare war on Brazil and slaughter them mercilessl
or die. CMON GOD! I've fought the Dreadlords, I can take YOU on! Lol, but why would space change? Space just doesn't *Change*, it would have to be a cataclysmic event to do that! Something around the areas of The Big Rip, Dark matter gone amuck, or the space time continuum is disrupted so much it threatens to destroy the universe. If space did change, they wouldn't say speed limit, they would say: "Space has been ripping beca
I wish the special tiles had more "bazing". If you uncover a precursor library, you should be able to get all of their techs from that library...with time ofcourse and some costly projects. Hey, maybe you could uncover techs that no one else can have...Nah, that sounds to cool to be in galciv2!
JEEZE! You should have the ability to break the speed limit! What are they going to do? Them:"You have broken the law! Blahblahblah!" ME: "SO SUE ME! SIC 'EM BOYS!!" *Doom rays flash around the room and the bodies of their corpses lie dormant*
I agree that the tech tree in Galciv1 was more robust. In Galciv1 got cool stuff like genetic engineering and terror stars. In Galciv2 however, you get crap like "Laser II" OHHHHH! SO EXCITED! I'd basically say it comes down to whether graphics matter to you or not. If you like the idea of designing your own starships, and seeing 3D rendered planets and fleet battles, then unquestionably you should play GC2. I really don't think the graphics a
okay, I'm apparently not the only one with problems with DA. I have only one question: What are the specs on the PCs the Devs use? Considering they have to see the algorithms on their PC, I assume they have no fog of war. Which means they have to display every ship, every planet, and every asteroid. They must have a super computer to have DA run smoothly!!
Well, its not only you. I see TONS of old post circulatiing through the recent posts tab, which baffles me. It's like Necromancers Gone Wild!
What the? I thought this post was dead! I saw it in the recent posts window on the home page. Whats going on?!
You might be able to destroy it's quality with mass drivers and other invasion tactics.
I practically had the same thing with galciv1. I wanted action and it didn't come, so I put it away. Eventually I got smart enough to know how the system worked and I was shovin' ships out in no time!
I differ with my parents on so many points, I'd be miserable if I was "engineered" to become their idea of correct. Umm... how do you know that you wouldn't be "engineered" to be not miserable? Haha... nice one So if you had the chance to engineer your next (or first) child, then
But lets face it you are. Evil will abound and dark days will lie ahead. Aye, if this stuff DOES happen, I'm sure the rich will most likely be the ones to put it into power as Marcus Cardiff said. They an always BUY votes right?...come to think of it, if the super races rebell it would be quite ironic don't you think?
A super muscular super sensed man can still die by the M-16 or the lazer rifle or whatever! Yea, but if he is quicker with a gun you are at a disadvantage. He would also have better eyesight than yours(I wasn't reffering to your visual snow). Plus if he gets close to you you aren't gonna be around much longer...
I think this technology should be used for curing terminal diseases only. When a superior race than man, even if it was stemed from man, it would be different. Think about it, if a certain race of people was made that was faster, stronger, taller, more intellegent, and superior reflexes; we would be obsolete. They would begin to think they are superior to us all and start a "specist" war against us. If that race ever began to breed with only superior "humans" they could exterminate us all, espe
Homeworld is my favorite. Mostly number one. I haven't played it in a while, but here are the things that I remember about it that made it great. 1) Fleet customization. The ability to build a fleet capital ships of hordes of fighters 2) Carriers 3) Cool weapons 4) Balanced game 5) The plain fun of watching fighters fly in formation as they strafe the enemies ships. It's just to bad that Galciv2 doesn't have cool fleets fights that homeworld did.
Please put some paragraphs in your post, it much makes it easier to read. But on the good/evil thing, you can't stereotype a race as being good or evil. It's the individuals. For example: You could be a stormtrooper in Starwars. While you may work for an evil empire, you and your stormbuddies are not necessarily evil. I personally thought the empire was cool. For these reason
