As far as minors graduating to majors, I don't think that would be something worthy of the programming effort. If you want more oppenents, simply enable more majors. I just dont believe that custom races should start with a seat at the UP and classification as a major race, I think it should be earned. Wow, that would be cool...climbing the ranks of the galaxy...yea.... I never thought of that, neat idea.

Having Laser V isn't the most creative thing in the world. What would be cool is have a weapon creator. Vary things like color, damage, size, and cost. EX: Drengins' laser 5 is red, while the Terrans' are blue.

The AI needs to adapt more to a players weapons. EX: I have 20 massdriver and 10 sheild. The enemy has 25 beam and 10 sheild. The enemy will lose because I have better ships. They may as well lose the sheilds on their ships. They need to be more aggressive and war mongering. Also a cheesy tactic to play on the AI is have an alliance with them, line up transports around their planets, and invade. They wont know what hit 'em. It would be wonderful for them to stab

So, like the above line, will they have more weapons and techs in Dark Avatar? It would get really stale to have the same old tech tree over and over again. To bad they don't have techs for every individual race.
