I'll tell you why he needs spam to spread the word about that game, and why noone will care about it. "For more details, please visit http://holy.pkve.com/ Tags: Browser Game, Web Game, Browser-Based Game, Free Online Game, Free MMORPG" Thats why. Good luck.
play in windows mode for now, at least you can see the clock on the bottom of your desktop.
Not me, since GalCiv2 is so smart enough that it overlaps every other pixel, and it has no borders at all too! Its all good, but not when you look at the clock "HOLY SHIT! 5am :O"

I dont even want to remember the very first ones, too crappy technology back then :P However the nice ones stand out from later on; Mystic Quest (simplified Final Fantasy for kidz) Zelda (duh) Kirby Donkey Kong Country Starcraft Populus

kryo, could there be any remote chance that we'd get a slider or drop down box in a patch, to let us choose "low, medium, high" rate of such random events? I LOVE the randomness and "fear" of something happening. But its happening way too much stuff way too often. Its something i feel should happen rarely, not in almost every single game you play. (Megaevents changing the balance of power UTTERLY, happened more than once in 13 of the 15 games ive played so far)

Obviously not a minority :) It doesnt matter how good a game's gameplay is, you still want something nice to rest your eyes on, especially if its a game such as this where you'll spend countless hours. Im surprised that turn based / big & long games usually have crappy graphics, those are the ones that "need" it. Fast games like Starcraft or C&C is all about hotkeys and clicking fast, you never have time to care about the graphics, especially on pro gamer levels.

Just a quick question. In that screenshot you can see some sort of drop pods (??) being smashed into the planet, in the video screen. But every single time i invade or get invaded, its the same old video of a city burning more and more.. I tought it would change depending on what invasion method you use, mass drivers or core detonation etc. (would be REALLY cool) But it just doesnt. Is it supposed to be the same all the time? Or is it a bug that will be fixed? Thanks!

just wait til you get the pirate megaevent in a gigantic galaxy, wohoo 100 fleets killing every single ship and station in the galaxy. until you get 5 rangers by pure "chance". fun = destroyed randomness = wins

But it still affects production.................... I must go experiment :D I dont give a sh*t if they are unhappy, im the emperor god dammit! 24 billion hard working slaves vs 14 billion happy slaves ? Could it be possible that a world with 3 farms, 3 happiness things and the rest factories, has better production than a low-pop world with only 1 happniess thing and the rest factories?
Ah, the visuals behind the tiles are just a background.Adding some algorithm linking usable tiles to the randomized background would again use some additional resources (RAM, CPU) and all those bells and whistles would in the end bog down the game. There are some more instances where it was decided to keep the design more simple, allowing to reserve most of the resources for the AI and its strategy.
Yeah, but building a xeno farm underwater still doesnt make sense :D

So i was in this huge galaxy game, and things were going great. I had 2 ascension crystals in my area, so i built 2 bases on them and started collecting points.. Then however, everyone hated me, so i tought i'd give my ascension bases away to someone else, to make them into the hate-target instead. This didnt work, i was still the one getting the ascension points even tough the other race now owned the bases. Then, after loading my game today, the bases were gone, it

The mega events happen WAY too frequently.. Arent they supposed to be rare? Why do they happen in every single game ive played? Always someone that "gets more powerful as time passes", always someone that found a precursor ship, always some insanely huge cash bonuses or penalties. I want to play a NORMAL fair game, but with a RARE chance of something like that happening.. Like ONCE in a long game, not 5 times.
The only thing that I found irritating was the complaint for no multiplayer. While that was annoyingly predictable, the most irritating part of the video was that woman's voice - is she some kind of robot? Why are all video reviews done by people who sound (and look) like they live in their parents basement?
Wow.. She's amazing. You should watch some more xplay stuff, not just reviews =P Imo she's one of the funniest / best reviewers out there. "Whats a girl gotta
How do they survive the explosion? Everything else in the system is nuked. One has to wonder how a tiny laser beam can destroy a mobile station with enough power to blow up and star and the strength to withstand the resulting super nova.It is very far away. If you take the distances into account that play a role in the game, 1 parsec which is one square on the game map would be 3.3 lightyears or 31billion km / 19,176,075,967,324.937 milesthe graphics are obviously not true to scale, so j
Many people say that PC gaming is dying, and I agree with them entirely. From a commercial sense. The independent gaming community for PC is better than ever. The reason that PC gaming is dying is because of system requirements. You do not need to run a FPS at 90 frames per second with bloom, soft shadows, real-time lighting, next-generation physics, and advanced reflection to make it look good. See Tremulous. 700 MHz, low requirements in graphics, and various other nice stats. It looks n

kryo, is there a chance we can get randomized enemy colors in the next update for TA? As in, the torians wont always have the exact same color scheme, etc? Like a "randomize colors" button next to the "randomize intelligence" button or something? :)
As your ship gets even closer, damage will soon dramatically increase as the ship is crushed by the shearing forces of the increased gravity.
Actually, if the black hole accretion disk is large enough compared to the ship, it wont be crushed at all. In fact a crew inside the ship possibly wouldnt even feel a thing for the most part of the journey to the center.. Thats because if you imagine the gravity well as large enough, the small area that is the ship, will feel r
