what protects ships from blackhole weop? in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

just played a game where tech got to end on both sides ,when i decided to war the other side came with the blackhole weopons and anihilated all my ships as the attacker shoots first.my ships had the best hardners and shields on but seems like nothing will counter the blackhole weop,or is there? ...must say i was very disapointed watching game over in 30min after days of building up...

just thought id try the beta version so downloaded it,installed it,asks me for e-mail & serial number put it in then i get error activating product any 1 know whats up.firewall turned off ect..

downloaded the beta patch,installed it,everything seems to install ok,then had to put in e-mail and serial number to register it,then i get error whilst activating?Any idieas why...turned off firewall ect..
