Merge the games! Then when in multiplayer, people can select what they want to play, give them the options. Singularity mode is the original game. Escalation mode is with the extras. Whatever next mode can be the game with the dlc and new races and naval tech dropped in. Really thing a merge is the way to go, especially with bringing the player bases together. Seemed dumb to split them in the first place. Escalation seemed like an experim

Anyone finding performance on the first mission in single player is pretty poor compared to even the benchmark? Hoping there's some optimisation to be done yet. Most escalation players will be trying that for the first time.

Maybe my opinions will change when I get to play some live players but there is a lack of content right now. I haven't tried the new campaign as it wont let me. I feel like too much is been done to Woo the ten or whatever supcom die hards who whinge on the steam forums.

Im not going to have any structure to this post, it's just what comes to me after I've had a few games. AI feels nerfed, especially on normal. STILL getting hangs when a game finishes. STILL getting checkerboard when a big explosion happens near the screen. (Even with a different graphics card) Formations seem prone to breaking and trails of units become a thing, sad! Unit clumps appear to be fixed, great! If some units arrive at a waypo

Look, SupCom is a game about economy. Its getting a larger number of icons and making your opponents wink out. AOTS is a game about combat. About unit placement and clever moves. Push and counter push. You can't even play this game like SupCom. Besides, most SupCom players just play Seton's Clutch, build a few defences around a choke point then rush nukes.

I didn't realise we were getting a campaign editor! That's great news. I've got no problem with you guys wanting us to build scouts as part of the game, but the low LOS is genuinely impacting my enjoyment of the game, and its spectacular visuals. It's the close range battles im not seeing enough of what's going on. Can I barter for a 15% increase? Pretty please? Excited to see some tech 3 PHC :) So if we aren't going to get voices, could

So. One week till Launch. 80 hours of Multiplayer and a further 10 of the campaign. What am I feeling right now? Elated. AOTS is one of the best early access titles ever and beyond that was is destined to be one of the RTS greats, which for a while may even carry the mantle of "RTS with the most shit going down." I've had a lot of fun so far and have a lot of praise for the game. But I do have some slight niggles, and they must be aired, but I suspect its too late for some

*Raises hand* Sad Five dude. But seriously, when you're ready, get another Dog! They will only be too happy to fill that void left from your other friend.

Not a single unit in the game has the range to warrant zooming out as far as the camera was doing in the video. I don't understand why people want MEGA ZOOM from this game when there are plenty of other games that do it.

BRAD! Great article and thanks for writing it. Just thinking, maybe you could make your abilities/quanta panel like the one World In Conflict uses for its abilties? Have it readily available rather than having to delve into another panel on the main interface? Just a thought!

Just thought this would help make Nemesis more visually identifiable on the battlefield. Right now its hard to know if its a Nemesis or a Turret firing from outside of your visual range. This would make it much easier to identify and react to. Who's with me on this?
