I finished researching Long-Range Jumps as a Vasari, but my ships still jump along the graph (i.e. even if another planet is only two hops away, they don't go directly there). I also can't make any of htem jump into an arbitrary location in the destination - they always show up by the graph line. It seems like Long-Range Jumps research had no effect at all. What am I missing?
Okay, just created my account. This is going to be problematic for Ironclad, as lots of people are going to try to put in the wrong thing, like I did. The serial number that comes up in My Account here on this site, and in my Stardock "Look up my serial numbers" email, would not work. I found another serial number in my original email receipt from September - a 5x5 key. That key worked.

Hm, perhaps it's general launch-day bugginess... I tried the "Download Updates" button on the main menu, and it opened up https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/signup ... and that page isn't accepting my Stardock signin (in the box on the right). I just verified my account name and password in Stardock Central itself, so it's probably a problem on Ironclad's side.
My digital download just finished installing, and I tried to logon to Ironclad. The account I created on Ironclad is coming up with "Account name not found." That's fine, I tried to create a new one. It asks for CD key, and I provided the serial number (from My Account here on the forums, which matches the one in the "Lookup Serial Number" email from Stardock. It says it's an invalid CD key. I don't have any other numbers. Please help!
Yeah, that's at least part of it - the money you get from selling on the black market shows up in "Credits gained on the stock market", at least. It seems odd to refer to the black market as a "stock market" though... maybe there's more to come?

After finishing a single-player game, I reviewed each of the statistics entries. Two of them caught my eye: "Credits gained from the stock market" "Credits spent on the stock market" The AI players spend a decent amount of money on this! Regarding control alt del, Microsoft changed how that worked on Vista when they rewrote the logon UI. You should be able to set Windows to not require a CAD to login which would bypass the problem. Unfortunately, this is not limited to login. You cannot ctrl-alt-del generally. You also cannot use Windows-L to lock the computer, or any Windows-key combination.
