Thank you for your update ; that made me look more thoroughly to eventually find my the 'Elemental' debug file folder on my computer. I eventually found it and will now upload links to debug files whenever possible.

It happened on a 'just started' fresh new game. I clicked on an empty space of a map, and a special tile appeared on it. Surprised, I clicked on an empty space right to this space, another special tile appeared. Amazed, I did this one more time - another special tile appeared. Now believing this was a bug, I switched to Jing and made a capture. When I alt-tabbed back to Elemental, the bug didn't repeat itself. I still cannot know if this
Most of the texts that are displayed in the "text tip" in the lower right corner of the screen appear as incomplete texts. It only happens if the sentence is too long. Resolution is 1920x1200, Windows XP.
Some game menus are not aligned correctly on my Elemental. I am using Windows XP, graphic card is an Nvidia GTX 260 (latest driver), CPU is an Intel IV 3,2 Ghz (mono), RAM is 4 GB. Resolution is 1920x1200.
This graphic bug occured in one game and didn't occur in other saved games. It wasn't there at the beginning of this game, but appeared while playing.
This happens when hovering the mouse over a button after selecting an enemy stack.
This bug happens on several game menus. For the first bug, it only happens with a specific user behaviour (going in and out of a menu) - described below. Using Windows XP with an Nvidia GTX 260 card (last version driver), a 3.2 Ghz Intel IV CPU, with 4GB RAM. <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5461592/gra
Thanks for this information. Regarding bug posting, several questions: - Some bugs happen only with specific saved games (game cannot be loaded, CTD, ...) and not with other files. I cannot find any 'save' folder in game folder, or in my Documents and Settings. Where can we find the saved games? And would you like to receive saved games files? Maybe this information could help other beta testers in finding them. Best thanks and regards to the tea

OUCH ! Silly me, forgot one thing : Diplomacy. The main thing that counts is your Diplomacy score. I almost say, unfortunately, because it must be the thing you put on in order to control the AI agressiveness. Isn't it ? Then are you saying it is too easy not to be attacked when having no military ship and a good Diplomacy value ? To easy to control the AI this way ? Because this is a very different idea than the one I understood
Wow... My mistake then. About the "score study" : Thanks a lot for all the info you are putting on this topic. This teaches a lot to me, and must also be a good scoring tutorial to other newcomers. I did have a game like one of Zevus, just need to finish my war against one last AI. Never put a rest to the war thing though, with a very incredible population. About the "debate" about what should be made to the
What you are saying is absolutely wrong. True during your games, that I am sure of, but this isn't a general attitude the AI has. In all games I played, I was the player with the highest population, the most number of colonies, and had an economic rating superior to 100 (and usually as well, a tech rating well close to 100). And I was close to be the most productive. And the computer-played races did threaten me a lot, request money and techs for me in exchange for them not
Please be careful. Some people here wrote that difficulty level had no influence on game score. It is wrong, and seeing such information prevented me at first from being interested in the Metaverse thingy. I hate to be demotivated because of a false information... I am sure you too. Some information for other readers not to be demotivated regarding Metaverse because of this difficulty thing: 1. The first post of this thread dates from the end of last month ; after the official r
I have ordered it 8 days ago (March, 5th) from Stardock, with the shipping option. Box wasn't avaliable in stores. I still have received no box. I live in France, I do not believe there should be any problem, but still, I am wondering why 8 days after I still do not have it... Maybe would I then advise the download option? You have the online manual provided with the download, and reading it is clear enough...
To Avatar T-Man: Solution found. What was causing it might interest you. Two parameters must be put together: player must have an Azerty keyboard (like the ones we have in France) and player must have a password with numbers in it. In the logging screen when pressing Metaverse button, some characters are not accepted, while others are assimilated ; for instance, pressing "1" or "MAJ + 1" still displays "1" as a result. In Azerty keyboards, by default, you must pre
Greetings, My problem: Cannot connect to the Metaverse in the game. When entering my account reference in-game (Telparion and the associated password) I get the "the Metaverse server did not accept the user name and password you supplied" message. Possible explanation: Might be ZoneAlarm that prevents the connection. However, I have put all stardock and Galciv2 programs to super-trusted, internet access enabled modes. In the Galciv2 Options, I have also disabl
