Game Slowdown/Crash in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hey, i'm experiencing an odd glitch. I'm playing a game on a medium sized map, and whenever I try and negotiate an end to my war with the Drath, my computer seems to slow to a stop, first with the mouse (which starts to stutter then stops moving completely), and then with the audio, which starts to stutter, like it is only getting a fraction of the CPU cycles it should (its integrated audio). I'm pretty sure that its not my GPU overheating, as I just got done playing a game on "Gigantic
