Best of luck. At 1AM last night I was trying to download a file and the page(s) simply would not open. It had been slow all evening but it finally ground to a complete stop. How quickly we forget the days of dial up and continual disconnections where we were lucky to be able to download anything. Why won't my BootSkin work? in Beginners WinCustomize Forums

I've spent a frustrating hour trying to create a BootSkin but with no luck. Every time I open the program it does not show my skin. It does show the ones that I have downloaded from this site and they all work. I have read the enclosed instructions "The Art of Making Bootskins" up and down. It's really hard to pick one skin out of so many excellent ones. I find myself using a skin for a week or so and then changing it for another just to give everyone a chance. My favorite artist has to be Sabine Gessner. His works are just the opposite of so many dark WBs on this site. Lots of color, sometimes soft and other times not, and always a beautifully done start menu. His Puzzle WB is a classic example of a theme that brings a feeling of warmth

I'll confess to downloading this new version from desiReX's page. And I REALLY like it. I have been using MusicMatch Jukebox for years now but may switch to WMP after setting the new version up. It starts up quickly and I like the way it will tag your entire library including the album art. Very well done from what I can see, and hear, so far.

You have a very warped sense of humor. While Yahoo is my home page and I do use some of their offerings I tend to stay away from anything that is media content. Between the ad pop ups and mandatory listening/viewing of more ads and their continual attempts to dominate your computer it just isn't worth the effort. How do you create new desktop icons? in New Users WinCustomize Forums

When I use IconPackager and open the Package Builder under the Desktop Icons section I am offered "IE", "My Computer", "My Computer", etc. for a total of 8 icons. How do I create new icons?
