Cross-language compatibility? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I have the original GC2 that I bought in the UK, though because of *Enter bad excuse here* I haven't got any of the two expansion packs yet. Now I wan't to buy them but since I won't be going to the UK again in the foreseeable future it's costly to get the UK expansion packs. I'm studying in Germany but am originally Dutch (Long Story). So it will be the easiest to get either of those versions. Now since I'm a bit 'old-fashioned' in the gaming sense I like to have the games on my shelf an

3 times the size of the real galaxy ....are you sure? Because our REAL galaxy has BILLIONS of stars in it. Ok I might have made a slight exatoration. They are both 18X18 BUT Epic seems to have more stars. As loading of gigantic, Rare everything 1 AI, takes about 10 seconds and loading Epic with the same settings takes about 30 seconds. Y

Maybe on your machine mine laughs at Gigantic galaxies. I WANT BIGGER GALAXIES! There is a custom map called 'Epic Galaxy' (Could be Collectors Edition only, not sure.) I was playing a game: Large Galaxy, Tough. While I was happily expanding my influence a Drengi planet (Class 18) switched to me. So I took a look at my newly acquired planet. What did I see to my enjoyment? A Precursor mine! What did I see to my amazement? They had built a entertainment center on it!
