yep on the face of it it seems vasari got nerfed really hard. being a vasari econ player my primary strat on any med or bigger map was to rush for early refinery and dominate the black market. Now vassari is forced to go trade ports as early as possible to have any hope to compete due to the double nerf of resource cost and sale price. please reexamine the market dynamics ic.

I too play vasari and while ra is like this I wont use it its too easy. I think the solution is to limit the ships ra generates to those a player can already buildand to tone down either the amount or frequency of the reinforcements just a little. The real problem I see with Ra right now is the excessive generation of heavy cruisers and transports. the last game I used it in at the 1 hour 20 minute mark I had over 60 heavy cruisers and 40 transports. I play vasari all the time and i have to agree returning armada is overpowered. the last multiplayer game i played was an 8 player ffa where 3 of us in one star system ganged up on a forth and I had time ti go RA. when the alliance from the other system invaded about 1 hour 20 minutes into the game I had a fleet with over 60 heavy cruisers 1 jump from our star. I destroyed over half thier ships myself before they retreated (that was 3 fleets of ships each with 2-3 caps and about 20-30 frigat

This is great. Anyone who hasnt played a game of Diplomacy before might be a little bit shocked. For those of us who are old hands at it however this is one of the best features of sins. The game is slow enough to evaluate situations and form stronger opinions as to who can be trusted and to what extent. I for one cant wait to play a long 10 player ffa with tons of intrigue.
