Game is unable to start following update this afternoon in Demigod Technical Support Stardock Forums

The game updated this afternoon when I logged into Impulse. However when I try to run the game I get the Demigod screen flash up and then it goes back to the desktop with an error message telling me that it is unable to create D3D, please update the graphic drivers. I am running Vista 32bit on an XFX Geforce GTX260 Black edition with the 182.50 graphic drivers (the latest). It ran fine last night before the update. Can anyone help or do I need to reinstall Demigod?

I have a similar problem with the first tutorial in that once I have colonised the asteroid and get the constructor I cannot progress the tutorial anymore. What am I supposed to do. I am running the 1.03 patch as well.
