It might have been better to say something like your regular avatar changes are an exception to prove my 'rule.' The steady march of time continues and Elemental's development along with it.
No, not for me anyway.
I have to admit that trailer looked freaking sweet. Perhaps Mechwarrior can be the come back kid.

umm, if you don't want to save during combat what exactly would stop you from not saving? I disagree that a save option during tactical combat would reduce tension in the game. If tactical battles can take an hour or more a save option would be a great idea.

[quote who="pigeonpigeon" reply="5" id="2294664"] "Goodie hut," as far as I know is just a term taken from the Civilization (or maybe colonization?) series - where there were literally lone huts on the map that would do something - either give you a bonus of some sort, vanish your explorer, spawn barbarians, etc. The term has grown to mean anything of the sort, regardless of its graphical content. Considering the rarity of magical creatures in Elemental, I wouldn't expect a troll encampm
I took interaction to mean there are situations where there is no fighting to get a reward (You find some lost crates) and there are situations where fighting is necessary to get a reward (fighting trolls / bandits). I suppose you could expand the "goodie hut" system to include something like your troll example but that would feel kind of lame to me. I would expect trolls in your situation to have a dungeon / encampment base of operations not a lonely hut on the map. Although, I am assuming t
The distinction might be so obvious people are overlooking it. I would suspect the difference between a quote "goodie hut" and a dungeon would be that a goodie hut is a single building that requires no exploration and only has the potential for one battle. A dungeon on the other hand I suspect would be larger (several tiles in size) with multiple rooms or levels. The dungeon would also have the potential for multiple battles with a boss or mini-boss in the final level / room / whatever. That

I hope this studio in Vancouver can do Mechwarrior justice. I'm a bit skeptical even if it is true.
I'm primarily concerned with how the game will look on an upper class system. The design has shown steady signs of improvement just based on the newer screenshots.
I don't particularly care either way but if a blind research system was used I would at least want to control the general direction research takes.
The spell of making makes " WIN " obviously.
I didn't even notice the spider in the second shot GW. Good eyes, he looks like my avatar.
That wolf looking down on the city seems very ominous or is it just me? Regardless, this is an awesome update and I'm really getting pumped about the tactical combat.
