Yeah i know what you mean. Once you ally with a minor race you're stuck with them. I mean it sucks. I had to wait until they were wiped out to get their planets..oh well. Wait so guys! how the heck do you "decommision"? I read it in the booklet but never figured out how to do that. and how does the computer always kick my but in influence points. I believe the strength of this game is in the ability to change the attributes of the race you want to play as. Not to mention you can create a completely new race. I think it is amazing that you can change your attributes in order to coincide with your style of play. Am I the only one that has a game where the minor races are actually quite powerful. I dont get how they do that. They only have one planet. Probably because Im feeding them technology for money. Did i just answer my own question?

I've been playing my game on a laptop and the laptop is really feeling it. I increased my vitrual memory to about 4,000 as the max. I keep having to increase it. Its probably cause Im playing on a HUGE map with alot of races. I have been playing the same campian for about 3 months haha. Im really in to it ,and I want to finish it. I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to free up space. Since my laptop has official been modified just to play this game already ha. -Dannar
