i have a similar problem. When i first bought the game, without any patches included, it worked perfectly fine. Then I downloaded the newest patch for the game and my videocard so now when I play galciv2, it crashes right after i choose my race for a new game. ....and it asks me for an error report. Im running Windows XP x64 edition. I have a Radeon X300, 3.0 GHZ, and 1 gig of Ram.
