All Small and Tiny vessels in the same fleet as the vessel that has this upgrade share that vessel's support and propulsion systems. Would be great, no? Good idea, and quite simpe, too! But would add some flavour to the game I don't know anyt

A fighter that takes the entire industrial output of planet Earth to construct? Na uh. Exactly my point - yet for some reasons they are called fighters. I am not going to moan that GalCiv2 sucks, because it has no fighters. I am just saying that it would be nice to have them...and wanted to show my solution (i.e. treating single fighters rathe
Well, I miss that from other similar games, i.e. galactic strategies, or other games based in the galaxy. For me it's just not the same... fleet which consists of only 4 fighters? Oh come on, that is a joke!
Sorry for the double post
Don't know how about you, guys, but while I was recently thinking about creating fleets and own ship designs it came to me, that I really miss the swarms of little fighters during combat. Coz' right now what we basically have, are situations where let's say 3 fighters defend a whole planet against an invasion... or worse, 1 fighter and 1 troop transport makes a whole invasion fleet! To counter that a bit I set some rules on myself: 1. When building fighter, instead of naming it like:

Yeah; I did not play for too long so far, but I have never seen any pirates (and so far all the races are at war with them). So where do they come from? Are there pirate fleets wandering around? Or do they have their bases etc.?
And do you thing that the UP system is going to be tweaked with the incoming patches? I mean, in my opinion quite a lot of options should be added if UP is to work efficently and make some greater impact on the game. I've said it someplace else, but I really miss a MOO3 system - with tons of options. If something like that was implemented into GalCiv 2, that would be cool <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
Well, I would like to see some tweaks to United Planets (ie. ability to propose your own bills, UP gathering once every 3 months or even working constantly - something like in MOO3); and tweaks to espionage (especially in counterintelligence area).
Thanks; I would like to see some improvements to the UP system myself, especially in the area of proposing bills (like in MOO3) - that could add a new dimention to the diplomacy. And if these proposals were treated as a trading good (i.e. agree to vote in a certain way for a new tech etc.) would be even sweeter... Hope incoming patches will cover this!
First of all, since this is my first post on this forum, I would like to say Hello Having done that, I have a question regarding the United Planets: since I don't have time to play for too long I never had a chance to get far in the game. What makes me wonder, however, is whether later in the game you have ANY impact on what is going to be decided at the UP summit? And can you in any
