GalCiv II only lets you create one orbital fleet manager per planet (Fine). However, I find that if I conquer an alien colony the computer may have done something dumb like build an orbital fleet manager on a research bonus tile. So if I replace the orbital fleet manager with another structure (e.g. research lab), then I won't be able to build another orbital fleet manager on that planet because they game still thinks I already built one and doesn't realise that it has been destroyed/replaced.<b

I a problem where my economy and technology is always woeful. I play Humans and often find that the other races have more powerful economies and research than I do. I don't know why. I am normally forced to pick "Federalists" (economy bonus) as my political party so that I am not running out of cash. I just want to comment on the music in GalCiv II. I really like the music in the main menu area because it has a human voice singing alongside the actual tune being played, and it really creates a good atmosphere. I'm just sorry there is no such "opera" singing while you are actually playing the game. Has anyone here ever played "Heroes Of Might & Magic II: The Price Of Loyalty"? I just want to comment on the music in GalCiv II.
