drrider I was going to reply to your post extensively but I changed my mind because I don't want to continue your flame. I'm writing this reply because of your very bad accusations you are making to people who posted here. About what I'm concerned I didn't mean to blame Stardock harshly for this little accident even for a second: I posted here only to know other users' experiences and I was a little annoyed because I couldn't play to GalCiv, but nothing more. I didn't read other posts who blame

Drak: Where can we get this fix? I don't mind if its a "beta" fix. At the moment the fleet bug makes the game unenjoyable for me. The staff sent it to me as beta testing and I'm not authorized to send it around: try asking the staff directly... EDIT: Ok problem solved!
Yeah the fix seems to function well... the "colonize planet" bug was releated to the fleets losing their path. Now they go around them very nicely.
Yes it's a very annoying bug (ah better... bugs because there are more than just one) and there is still no-patch!
It's another bug already mentioned multiple times... I hope they will solve this bug as well with the next patch because this, and the other about the fleet movements, makes the games, especially the ones with big galaxies, annoying at best. I hope bugs as ludicrous as these ones won't show up again because I can't imagine they wouldn't show up in a reasonably long beta testing....
I think this is one of the most ludicrous bugs I've ever seen in a game... I mean how did it arrive to final consumers?!? I think Stardock should improve the beta testing process before relasing a patch to the public: patches are supposed to solve existing problems, not creating new ones! And in the future they should give, to Stardock Central, the possibility to downgrade a game: if this was poss
Hello guys! @Ron Lugge Thats... not really a good description. Each star system is a series of battles, not just one. And while interstellar flights take forever, I don't think they actually take 10 minutes. Ok so there is no intergalactic flight... I guess the guy who wrote the review I read was on crack then! @Annatar11 <div
Hello Shadowhal, thanks for the reply! I think you are getting this wrong. sins will not feature billions of planets. in fact you can mod it for as much as you like, but you will not find any computer on this planet that will be able to do it. maybe with all computers' calculating power put together it might work, but I doubt it. Yes there is the co
Hello guys! I've seen the ultra-mega high definition in-game videos posted by Multianna. The game is interesting but there is a hight risk of become chaotic, isn't it? I mean I saw all the continuous zoom in and zoom out to the various planets of a single star system to manage the ships accordingly to the situation. In a galaxy there are billions of star systems and in the universe there are billions of galaxies: I think most of you already know where I'm getting too... If I have to do the s
Hello, I've developed a very nice empire with terran alliance in a gigantic galaxy; I played on it for various days. Lately it keeps crashing and I cannot go on with the game. When it crashes it goes back to Windows and an alert appears saying: "Error at 0x100051f8 with a memory reference at 0x00000000. The memory couldn't be "read". The game is updated and original of course. How can I solve this problem?
Ok I solved the problem... thank you very much for the support!
Hello, I bought a copy of Galactic Civilizations 2 from Play.com and it arrived today. I installed the game and then I tried to update it through the site and through stardock central but it keep saying the serial number is invalid. I've checked it multiple times of course, changing possible misleading characters, but without success. I'm using the code behind the manual, with the "-" character too... am I doing something wrong?
