I'm pretty sure you can scuttle ships, on the center bottom of the screen where the picture of the Ship selected, the bottom part theres a construction like bar that should scuttle them. I definately agree about the time thing though, perhaps a setting where it goes back to normal time if anything larger then a scout or somtehing enters a system

If i'm not mistaken, theoretically if you standed still, and had a "side" thruster fire, you would merely begin to move in the opposite direction of that thruster, you need to be attached to something to have angular momentum, although it might also have something to do with where the side thrusters would be located, the farther away from the center of mass, the more it would "turn", and the closer the more it would push. space is generally more complicated for travel also because the l
Again I havn't played too much yet, but so far it seems that the purpose of metal by and large is to provide a resource to sell to get $ (to get Crystals) Perhaps its just been the amount of places to mine metal/crystals in my systems, but so far I've never had to worry about not having enough metal to do something - its always been money, and most often crystals. This might change if I had to build more ships - as it is, my kill/loss ratio is pretty good because AI/Pirates arn
My apologies if this is possible, or I missed it, but it would be nice if you could see the status of research without going to the research tab, IE somewhere on the main UI have either the icon or name of the currently researched item as well as %. Sometimes I miss the information that research is done, so a visual cue of status would be helpful
I disagree that bounty should go down, and I agree with other posters that Pirates need to be smarter about attacking, instead of constantly attacking well defended systems with small numbers, they should only try to attack when they have a reasonable chance of success. If someone has a large bounty on them, they expand, and have a minimally defended systems, that should be a primary target. I don't know if this is possible but it would also be cool if Empire B had a really lar
I agree that instant switching seems a little too excessive. The problem I have with the way it works, is you find a planet that an enemy has, you bombard the planet, and then set up shop, and all the guys you sent, immediately turn around and join the otherside, that just doesn't seem very realistic, you arn't going to have people who spent their entire life in one culture/empire switch in whatever the time period of one second is. "So Roger, we are about to settle on this new
I didnt read every post but... it seems the complaint is this, CPU's do not adequately take in longer term overall strenth of an opponent when sizing them up for attacking it continue the WW2 analogies.. When Japan attacked USA, we were "relatively" weak militarily (compared to later in the war) However the US had a HUGE manufacturing base, and that was a major contribution to the reason the Allies eventuall
In the campaign is trading disabled or am I just really blind and cant find the technology to enable it? Thanks in advance
