Everyone has to agree that isnt new, since its dota alike. Dota is a mod, not a game, though
Moreover it is a "new" release as in fresh meat. I think that was the context of the original comment. [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]

It is as much fun as GC2 to me with the last x-pack. If you only get the base game you might not think it is on par with GC2. You must get the x-packs for the full ride - It is one you will not regret if you are a real scifi 4X player.

I hope the next contest gets more support from the community.
How comes that piratebay website is still aviable after they went to jail?!
Hhhmm.... Of the top of my head, I can think of three good ones: 1. There is an appeal (Not in jail yet methinks). 2. The servers are outside the country. 3. Others will step up and take over.
It is a pretty good title. A good level of micro and a reasonable curve. It just had an x-pack published a few months ago that is well done. If you like Sins you should like it.
I'm all for the rep dynamics (as I posted a long time ago) I also want a vice & virture system as well.
A nice retort Malanthor. [e digicons]B)[/e]
Some pretty straight forward stuff to say the least - No BS and no spin. I wish other developers could man-up like this and talk their customers like intelligent reasonable people without all the crap excuses (thinking of you Ubi and EA). Anyway, I'm glad to hear things are solved now. I hope some of those reviews get redone otherwise they will clearly be doing the gaming community a big huge disservice.

A minor update, that did not show in my first for some reason (I have edited it now). The Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act of 1998,^ ("CTEA"), amended and codified in relevant parts at 17 U.S.C. 301-304, and Section 514 of the Uruguay Round Agreements Act* ("URAA"), amended and codified at 17 U.S.C. 104A, 109(a), are unconstitutional. To hell with Mickey Mouse and friends! [e digicons]:troll:[/e]
Glad to see someone is giving the game its just accolades! [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
For what it is worth I was planning on jumping into the game on release but when I found out about the screwup on the release date I figured there would be issues with the server rollout so I opted not to add to the problem. I know it is not much but it is the thought that counts. I hope is going well now and I wish the best for the game and the developers.
Well I cant say I support the verdic. I think the whole process was a crock of shit to be honest. The tech is not the problem - nuff said... In my not so humble opinion, simply put the current IPR laws are depriving society of the benefit they were created for in the first place. The system needs to change pure and simple...
I kinda imagine a council would be along the as the 'governers' discussed in other threads, except by different names. That would allow you to monitor and assign tasks to each of the different 'brains' of your kingdom (or is it channelerdom?) beyond just city management.
I concur. In general I think a political element will essential for the game.

Congrats guys! You will all love the shirt. It is very well made. Additionally, I was to send a big thanks to landisaurus for doing this for the community. [e digicons]:andrew:[/e] [e digicons]k1[/e] karma given!
I have learned not to trust EA or Ubi over the years. Your right. UBISOFT released the new Prince of Persia without any copyprotection for PC and now they decided "for business reasons" the story DLC is only released for the consoles. I hate ubi for that.
Preaching to the choir my friend. Hell I even gave them a second chance and was the guy that promoted the hell out of the PoP policy change all over t
While I dont place much stock in it being a legit thing, at least with customer concerns firmly in the sight, lets hope an old dog can learn a new trick. I will reserve my opinion for seeing it happen first. I have learned not to trust EA or Ubi over the years.
Thanks! Updated again... [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
Updated. @Zubas (or any other SD person) - how about a pin for this thread? [e digicons][/e]
Quoting GenBlood, reply 1 IMHO ... alot of games that came out last year just ... wasn't that good ... They should have been put on hold and fix or just canceled .. So very true... the worst games are those developed for recently released movies. I wonder how many people never gave PC games another try for entertainment because the movie games were such garbage.
&nb
A damn solid list of suggestions so far; they all work for me.
