Same problem here. When I reload the tutorial it asks me again to settle and form a city no matter where in the tutorial I was thus I cannot continue it. Also the tutorial crashes when I move past the iron mine to the east.

All that reminds me of the first time I tried out Linux. When I was disappointed that I couldn't run all of my Windows games on it I asked the community on the Ubuntu forum if it was possible to emulate Windows on my Linux box. Well... They where not very helpful. I think they where shocked by the idea and the whole concept and thought I was a pervert because of just having the idea... :D Funny replies though... ;)
Here some more from the top of my head: - Sometimes you have to click the Encyclopedia's close button (the little "X" in the upper right) twice to close the encyclopedia. This happens especially when it is opened by clicking on an entry in the research screen or clicking on the resource entries in the city's encyclopedia entries. - When configuring a new sovereign the icons that represent the outfit and the faces, are not very similar to what the 3D outfit looks like.

Big LOL! That was hilarious. At first I just thought: WHAT? LOL big time! :D
I remember that s ome weeks ago I read in one of the dev's blogs, that there is a page where I can log in with my impulse account and download game installs without installing impulse. Right now I am at a terminal were I cannot install Impulse, because I don't have the user privileges. Next to it I have my laptop on with Elemental 1.01 is installed, but I cannot go online with it. The network won't allow it. But I could transfer data from the terminal that is connected t
I have exactly the same problem. Crash on load in version 1.0. Is it possible that this is related to installing the game in a non default directory?
Backstory: Shepherd was born as a son of a lesser and impoverished noble. Strongly supported by his parents he was brought up in a save and conservative environment lacking real challenges or danger. Always striving to fulfill his self-imposed goals to satisfy what he thought noble heritage would demand from him he achieved humble success but not quite what he had aimed for. When his parents died in an unexpected accident he suddenly found himself without the familiar support and on his
Lore, lore, lore. This is what I read a book for or watch a movie. For a good story. Because I am not that creative myself but enjoy consuming interesting stories, concepts and ideas. A game with too little creative content (read graphics and lore) is a dead shell.

Give us "Infertile (no offspring at all)"! With a huge point boost of course.
Germany is alot smaller than the US. Texas is several times bigger than Germany - so maybe size is an issue in the distribution of energy. There is technology to transfer energy over huge distances (from Moscow to eastern Siberia for example) without losing a significant amount of energy. It is ca

Frankly, some factions should be at least infertile when crossed - unless you use evil arcane magic to create hybrids.
Just for the record. It is spelled "verboten". And don't forget. I also wanted "infertile" to be a trait (not just ugly). For a reason! :D
I seem to suck at this game, though I love it. No problem for me, I'll just keep training and play newbie games for now. But after about 10 online games so far I was really bullied this morning. Players were NOT nice at all. Humiliating me. Hello? The game was called "Noob Game"! This was really taking me down. Now I wonder about the community. I read that it is a very decent crowd in the games. But this was the contrary. Does this happen often? Doesn't everybody

Hi, some time ago I started a metaverse game. Then in between Stardock asked me to change my username and so I did. Now I finished my metaverse game and I have to enter my password to post my result to the metaverse. BUT, it states my old username and of course my password does not work. How can I now post my metaverse results??? Please help!!! Best regards Daniel
· Ugly. Fewer children
Now I got a great idea. · Infertile/Sterile. No offspring. - Think like the Mule in the Foundation Triology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mule_(Foundation) . A huge drawback but on the other hand he was incredibly powerful. So it should free up a bunchload of points for positive traits (talents).
Random techs. Techs that aren't in every game that add spice to the game world.
Reminds me (again) of Sword of the Stars. The random tech tree in SotS is one of the best things about that game. Should be in every game in my opinion! And as we are at it: Also include random shortcuts from one tech to another. SOMETHING BIG IS HAPPENING! So my point is the music was good. :D But one problem with Ascendency was that I always felt like I was
When you get the disc mailed from digi distributors, is it a real copy of the retail version or something else?
That was it for me with GalCiv2. Lest I forget: If I own a boxed hard copy of a game I can easily sell it second hand in case it gets old to me and I ever get bored playing it and don't want to own it anymore. (Though I only once ever sold a game. I don't like to give away what I own.)
Call me old-fashioned but I really enjoy holding a box in my hand and being able to put it into my games shelf and look at it. Gives me more of the "now-I-own-something-feeling". If I buy something, I wanna own and posses it. If I have the box, a printed manual and a professionaly labeled disc, I truly have this feeling. [e digicons]:pout:[/e] My PRECIOUS!!! Thank you kryo. Wonder how I missed that. I had checked the journals...? :) Note to self: Read what your eyes are staring at. ;) But having the most recent changelogs easily available via SDC would be really neat. (I love reading my GC changelogs!) ;p
