July....hot here...but my desktop cools me off. Galaxus 7 WB by roflmfaoo. Winstep is Galaxus Xtreme ported by WebGizmos. Wallpaper by adni18. Fences 6 text to match Dungeon font. Two great skinners, artists and people who are no longer among us.
Version 26.6 has just been released... Highlights include a fully updated User Guide for all Winstep applications, full PWA support (as far as I know it is currently the only dock that handles PWA applications exactly like regular Win32 applications), edge-to-edge dock backgrounds, a new Dodge Windows auto-hide mode, WebP icon support, and a major overhaul to the entire weather system (now featuring two backup weather feeds).

Almost 100% static. I like to save the RAM for Ps and its AI and DXO software. I generally keep Workshelf docks and Fences on the desktop with my taskbar. Sometimes I use NextStart, but mostly not. With Ps open or On1 open and maximalized, animations would only distract if they'd be visible. I do use Deskscapes for desktop wallpaper playlists.
Today's desktop Galaxus Winstep ported by WebGizmos. Wall from the web I think.
Yes, I took the time to read your comment but did you also take the time to read mine..? "And without wishing to sound arrogant"...
Yes, and considering so much can be distorted by translation. It might well be different on other sites, but because of vote weighting I give a minimal number so to influence less with my personal tastes, and give greater weight to the members' "votes". My act

Runs very cool since it's a laptop processor with a TDP of 54W.
Surprisingly good numbers. I like data and programs on separate drives. Glad you helped Daiwa.
DrJBHL, regarding the "Black and Gold" Winstep theme, there probably won't be many more votes, though there will certainly be downloads. Given the effort put into it much like with "Parisienne" and without wishing to sound arrogant, it deserves five stars, not three. Other themes are in the works and on the way...! Thanks... It included an AMD R9-7940HS processor with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD with Windows 11 Pro for $587.
Good buy. Any heat problems?
I had seen this on other sites, and it is great news for a lot of Windows 10 users. The price of new computers is going up due to memory and RAM shortages which makes the upgrade to Windows 11 unfeasible for those on older computers. I have personally been running Windows 11 for a couple of years now, and with Stardock software it's quite tolerable. Once they finish the "K2" initiative, it should be a lot better.
Arthur Kaye has published this good news for many on gHacks (external link). Originally this program was set to end Oct. 12, 2026. MS made the change with no big announcement. I recommend reading the linked article as it describes how to join the program. Those who joined the original program don't have to do anything additional to continue through 10/2027.
A lifetime license is worthless if development stops because the developer went out of business. The upgrade subscription ensures Winstep remains sustainable, so the software you rely on continues to grow, improve, and exist for the long term, as it has.
Exactly. Well said.
Winstep Xtreme is an interesting program! But there's one drawback. The update subscription is valid for one year, and the price is quite high. Stardock software updates are also valid for one year, but there are many of them, and they're interesting. That's a big plus!
Once you purchase a Winstep subscription, it doesn't stop working at the one year mark. Also, it is incredibly customizable. I can't think o
