Erm... No... serial number? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I purchased this game retail, at a local Best Buy... when I got home and popped open the box to install... I discovered that there was no serial code on the back of the CD jewel case. It was just a plain, shrink-wrapped clear 2-cd format case, and there was no serial code in the box, or on the manual... any help? Or am I missing something obvious?
