2 spells: Protection from fire (random chance of appearing in the tech tree), and Nature's Cloak. Both will totally screw over Delin (and pretty much all other fire elementals). The same strategy works just as well on Vetrar (but with ice, of course).

*sigh* ... 1 damage against gilden? My god, what do you equip your troops with, daggers? (You realize you can upgrade weapons, right?) I'm just going to go out on a limb and say please try it before you talk, because it's quite frankly a bit embarrassing to be arguing over this. The production costs of basic troops is quite low. Hell, if you take wealthy on your sovereign you could rush an army of them out by turn 20. Spiders also cost production along with a hefty amount of mana (the

Um... Lucky is a faction trait. Wraith is a race. You can make a custom wraith faction with lucky, without taking binding or cult of hundred eyes (both are pretty pointless now that the basic troops are so much better), and without the no armor penalty even. Gilden's blood trait is also very strong (hence why the AI is often very good with Gilden), but if you honestly think Ironeer troops are better than Wraith troops right now, then you obviously haven't tried the dodge build

This is probably due to the way these spells are casted, the "CastingUnit" is no longer the attacking unit (it's simply applying an effect and doesn't have a proper reference back to that unit). So you're getting some numbers that don't exist. Try something more simple, like 3 instead of using Calc.

No offense, but if there were easy ways, why would anyone choose the 2 point trait? Just the fact that it's a 2 point trait should tell you that it's suppose to be valuable.

... and how does using blindness stalls dirge? (death magic?) Hell, I specifically mentioned that you'd be using either Dirge or Contagion when you don't need to blind (Contagion is my prefered spell due to its much lower mana cost). Still, Dirge and Contagion only really shines against mass of troops or if you have amass tons of death shards... and they aren't so great against particularly strong mobs. Dodge troops allows you to tank everything while you let those spells do their

Assuming I understand you correctly: It's safe... but you probably want to keep a backup of the original file somewhere just in case you change your mind later (as well as a backup of the changed version to switch to when a patch occurs). Usually though, it's better to save the change as something else, then alter the artdef with a tiny mod to point it to the new art. This way, when a patch occurs, your work is saved and you don't have to redo it.

If it was me, the tech for SOM should unlock a new spell book instead of the spell, one that you have to level up like other books (think of it as learning the ropes of ultima magic), but with a really high rarity (so that it always appears when you level). Then, once you get to say... the third tier of that book, you can then finally cast the final spell. That would at least require you to gain 3 levels after getting the book and choosing to devote yourself to researching that path. This wou
You do not have to build dodge troops to play resoln.
Perhaps not, but why would you expect people to do anything else when there's an "I WIN" button in their back pocket? That's the point. None of their other aspects is even remotely mentioned anymore after this change. Spiders? Summons? Who needs them if your enemies can't hit your BASIC troops. Hell, people are probably dumping all the other Resoln traits and pick

Weaponsmith is an upgraded Armorer. You need to build it in the same city you build the Armorer. (Just in case: Armorer is an upgrade of Blacksmith, which is an upgrade of Forge) In otherwords: to build a weaponsmith, you first need to build a Forge in a Fortress, then upgrade it to a Blacksmith, then upgrade that to an Armorer.

I don't think you understand how dodge vs accuracy works. When you have 30+ dodge, and your opponent has 75 accuracy, they have at best a 45% chance to hit (accuracy - dodge = hit chance). They don't have 25% chance to miss, they have a 55% chance to miss. This, by the way, is without any dodge traits or accessories. If you add in Lithe, suddenly you have 40+ dodge, and your opponent is down to 35% chance to hit. Toss in Balance or god forbid, Acrobat, and it becomes a dodge tank.
You will still have to cast Blind vs that 90%. You're describing a great tactic vs big solo monsters, but that tactic is valid with every race. Blind gives 50 dodge, wraiths trait only 20. If you can equip all your troops with shields and wargs and have a champ casting Blind on all opponents in every battle, I would say you have indeed won the game. Until that time, your opponents will miss ~25% of the time, while your troop

If you can gain influence for all those henchmens without picking heroic, then why in the world would anyone ever pick heroic? The choice is there, just like embassies, just because you don't want to choose it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

1. I believe what you observe as immobile units are actually ghost units (they died but haven't gotten clean up properly). 2. The AI sometimes clear lairs with normal units while their champions are assigned to doing something else. They have queued orders and don't seem to adjust all the time. So even if they are near a loot, they won't pick it up until they finish their queue of things to do. I'm not sure that making them grab everything is a good thing either, becau
