This is really a little odd. If I have the visual options on high the game runs fine, albeit a little slow and choppy. However if I move the graphics down to low the game causes a systems error and windows shuts down. This is using DA. Computer has a Pentium 4, 760MB of RAM and graphics are running on an Intel 82915G/GV/910GL chipset. Jusdt wondering if anyone has any idea what option might be causing this problem. Also it is kinda funny that it will run on the highest graphics but not
Soon as my tax return comes I'm gonna buy a new PC to be dedicated to gaming I think and this is the top of my list for games to buy. Actually it occupies the first 5 spaces...
Honestly I can say I'm 100% if not more.... >.>(it's possible) .... glad there is no multiplayer. The problem with modern gaming is we've forgotten how to make good single player games. Take Gears of War for the 360. That game has unbelievable multiplayer gameplay, however since I despise multiplayer that's of no value to me. I'm left with a so-so single player game. More and more games are becoming like this, having great multiplayer but absolute crap for single player. As was said in the orig
Hm... looks like I'll hafta make a little money tonight and make a digital purchase. So if anyone is from Lakeville, MN (which I doubt anyone is) order from pizza hat so I can buy this!!!!..... thank you.
Just wondering. Stupid question I suppose being as how this is the game's main forum but I was wondering. I haven't played GalCiv since somewhere in the version 1.3 area. Just wanna know how much has DA changed the game and should I return? Gracias
Really not an omission at all.
or turn of diplomatic victory
Oddly mine works fine until I turn on the explosions and then it goes nuts. Whole other problem though.
The weapons would have to be completly reworked too. As it is now there would be no advantage to having tactical command since the only difference it would make is in the positioning of your ships. None of the weapons have minimum nor maximum attack ranges or any of those things necassary to create a tactical experience. To impliment this feature stardock would need to rework and rewrite so much of the game that just in terms of cost it wouldn't be worth it. It would almost be a whole new game.
Weapons fired at the first time is both good and bad. Double edged sword like everything else. I agree the defender should get some shots off in the first round but I don't agree with them getting a full powered shot. The attacker should get something for, well, attacking. Otherwise what's the point of making ships that can catch or out-run your enemies? If you both are gonna be able to rail on each other anyways well then screw it. All you'd hafta do is save some space by removing all but perha
I've never actually had a tech victory. not once. My anger is at Alliance victory because it's easy to acheive, no matter the alignment of you or the AI if all you do is butter them up by giving them gifts. I think after a certain point your relations with a race should go down if you continue giving them gifts. I mean at some point they should realize you're just trying to suck up to them to get an alliance. No one likes a brown-noser. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Laug
Just because a race is "good" does not mean they do not have a military agenda. Good and Evil are all just how you look at it. Evil civs attack to enslave you. Good ones attack thinking they'll be making life easier for you because they're way of life is so much better. Think US foreign policy for th
......wow... laziness reaches new depths.
As it says, how? Just curious.
