I agree. Once one race starts becoming dominant, then the other races should try to be their ally, or form a coalition to oppose them. They do nothing, and seem oblivious to the fact that they are going to be the next race conquered.

Even without an alliance, I think if their relations are good they might not consider an attack. Try getting the Torians to attack the Altarians. Sometimes it will work the other way around.

I also found the game to be way too easy, but they are improving it. So hopefully a few more patches down the road, and it will play a reasonably good game.

Yet we kowtow to a society a century behind our own! You're too kind. I would say they are 1,000 years behind us, at least culturally.

Real brilliant straw-man argument there. No one said tactics don't matter, but in a war of attrition, production can be more important. I'll give you a few real examples. General Lee was the better general during the American Civil War, didn't make a difference in the end did it? Several of the Union Generals were totally incompetent, but it didn't change the outcome. It just delayed it. Everyone knows who was the best general of

I'd like the option to have a mature galaxy where all the colonization has already been done, and the planets divided up evenly with basic techs and building already done. But until then just use Ctrl+N .

BTW the production skipping "bug" is by design. It's to keep people from saving every turn in case something doesn't go your way. Are you sure it's by design? Did one of the developers say that, or is that just a guess someone came up to explain the situation. There's must be a 100 ways to cheat alre

2) Not being able to build older buildings. This is also understandable from a gameplay AND realistic perspective. Gameplay wise, it is designed specifically to make older planets more useful, and realistically there are many examples (IE: how many modern hunters use stone spears?). However, if you don't like it, mod "PlanetImpro

Ships in orbit aren't in fleets unless you have the Orbital Defense building. Military starbases can be upgrading to provide offensive and defensive assist bonuses which are different than it's own offense and defense value. Only military bases can provide assist bonuses. If any of your ships are in its area effect you should notice the attack and defense values are increased. You need at least one point in the category for it to give the bo
