Honestly, if there was an accurate way for the Modding community to skin Planets, the issue "could" take care of itself. (I mean, if I knew that people were creating Mod Packs that contained fresh good-looking Planet skins, who WOULDN'T download it???) In general, it's not the "Greatest" of issues, but IMHO it is definetly a great place to start updating the graphics, given that this engine could support it. I love this game, but as a new thought that could enhance the overall feel of a Sci-fi setting, add more Planet skins so that only a "few" planets look alike instead of "a dozen". An added idea, the planets skins could reflect the Class Levels. Maybe crap level planets look like Rockballs with some water. While high level planets have articulate landmasses with details, full of islands and nice details, to make them seem like they could be their "own" homeworlds. <br/

Thanks for the posts, it was quite easy modding PQ, all you have to do is open CUstom Planets XML under Data/English, and then right there it says Planet Quality and you change it to your liking... Now I'll try to look for increasing the amount of planets per solar system... And one more thing I would like to change...(if it's true) Get rid of that Stupid government penalty. Why the hell would you get -20 diplomacy when

Two Very Important Questions in Modding GalCiv2 Forums

I have two questions. 1. Is it possible to increase the maximum amount of planets in a Solar System? 2. Is it possible to increase the Class of the Homeworld (I.E. Earth)? PS: Are there any mods which have done both? (So much for two questions)
