When I create a custom race, I'm supposed to have the option to design my own ship style. But, that button is greyed out when I'm at the "ship style" selection. Anyone know a fix? Also, TOTA, comes with a map editor, but where's the ship designer option? That a future update or did I miss a link or something.....
I fixed the problem after readin the "Known Issue" list thats in the support forum. I just increased my page file and it solved everything. I am able to save & load new games and I'm already kicking ass in a brand new war, so the fact that I lost the old kickass save during one of the crashes isn't a problem anymore. The game runs so much smoother than before from just that one fix.
I dloaded 1.1(b4) today and ran into a major problem. First I can't loading any of my saved games, which sucks because I'm really killin the AI right now, but it will crash everytime I try and load it. Second, when I try and save it, it also will crash. Whether its autosave or quicksave or manual save it crashes back to the desktop. Also why the hell does the sound skip? I have to keep the background music off just so I don't hear the stutt
I love this game. I bought it the strength of an IGN review, since I don't remember playing the first one.
