I'm curious about buying the pre-order, but dunno. I rarely like RTS games. For those of you who've bought the pre-order, how does the RTS work?

[Crash to Desktop] End turn then attempted to scroll map in LH Support Elemental Forums

The game crashed after I ended my turn and attempted to scroll the map when it was again my turn. There wasn't a zip file, this is the second time a crash has occured without one as well as the errror message "DX Error:Invalid Call" appearing. Maybe its a direct x issue? This was the message I received when the game crashed: "DX Error:Invalid Call" I attempted to right click on I think a swamp square with a pioneer which was off screen. Nothing happened/game froze and then the error window. I loaded an autosave, which was two turns previous. I attempted the same thing and there wasn't a problem.<

I decided to reinstall FE since LH is in beta now. I didn't buy the game through steam, but I am being told at the stardock website i need to register the product key via steam. Why is that? Or is it an error? Also, is LH through steam FE and LH together? Or just the expansion I have to somehow install after I install FE?

Armageddon Empires was a good game. Not a ton of replayability, but enough. The only drawback was it was single player, the game would benefit a lot, and probably attract more people, if it had multiplayer and a dedicated server. Solarium Infernum is a good game, very unique and so forth, but it gets old after a while. Worth the buy, but its more of a 6-7 out of 10 game. Ty for show dead state. It looks worth checking out.

My vote goes to Vampire:Bloodlines. Even without the player created patch it was amazing(despite the publisher pushing it out before it was ready), immersive, various ways to complete the many quests, etc. Amazing. The soundtrack was excellent too. And the voice acting. A lot of replayability, I rarely play an RPG more than twice let alone about 8-10 times. Ok i'll stop. I was at first really into the original game, then I got bored after about a week and a half. The replayability is there, but the battles are so often the same. And dull. I find that I just quick fight rather then fight them. The game needs a lot more variety and less provinces to control. I can't even get myself to play the beta version of the game. Just much too bored.

I've been playing, but i'm finding its becoming fairly repetitive. i start getting drowsy playing. Anyone else? I mean its a great idea and done well, but each fight is me basically waiting for the enemies to walk closer to my crossbows. And the building up of the shard you're attempting to take over is essentially the same each time. I'm really hoping the new version, The Broken World, will let you play a variety of species.

Been plaing Eador:Genesis. From what I can tell of Eador: Masters of the Broken World and Eador: Genesis are the same game, the strong difference being the graphics. Anyone else finding the same? Or have you tried MotBW in beta and found it a lot different?
