ACK! You guys are killing me! After reading this thread, I decided to go and download the game. Of course, now I am playing it! I am SUPPOSED to be playing galciv2, not some 15 year old game with dated graphics, dated sound, and and OUTSTANDING storyline. (Notice I did not use the term bad graphics or bad sound.) What started as a simple turn back of the clock is becoming very time consuming. I'll get back to galciv2, but I want to fin

Ahhhh, my favorite mistake!!!! Sleep is overrated anyway!
Heheh, I guess it is time for me to dust off my old copy of SC2 that I actually have lying around with my other modern games. (Yes, I hang on to the classics) Of course, I don't know how I'm going to fit all four 1.44MB floppy discs into my CD drive since I opted to not install the corresponding drive. Oh and what's this? An original manual? An original map? And uggggh, the original copy protection? Maybe I'll just visit the site instead because if I recall, SC2 was not very user friendly
Speaking of scrolling, can we move the "menu" button down a little on the main map? I find it somewhat annoying every time I go to click the button and my map starts scrolling upwards. Thanks.
I have found that the optimal level for taxes and output is around these figures: Tax: 40-60% Output: As close to 100% as you can get. (Or you are wasting resources) So far, one economic building plus one happiness generator per planet works. Of course, if you start building farms, you will need more happiness. (2 happy/1farm approx.) In the beginning, I build extra economy generators to offset my leases and la
Thanks. Oh and BTW, I already downloaded your ships. And probably everyone else's that was on the this site, thanks again. It was not the components I was worried about, it was only the dodads. I just wanted to make sure it got on the list of bugs and let SpaceDock know people were looking at it. Love Beta 3 even more than Beta 2. Highly anticipating V1.2 Full.
I absolutely agree, however......the Core ships get everything removed except for the hull.
Ok, if you are like me, you like spending more time playing the game rather than designing your own ships. Of course, at some point, you will need to go into the ship design depending on your current circumstances. What I would like to be able to do is take a core design (with all the extra bits) and tack on what I need. For example, in some of my larger games, I take a constructor and tack on an extra engine to cut down on the distance factor. If
Hehe, speaking of humor, I have to admit, there were a few times while I was reading the game manual. (Yes, some people actually read the manual BTW) I almost died laughing. Ya got me pretty good!
I like it, I like it. Here's your bump and a vote I like especially the idea of the scrolling news bar somewhere on screen. It worked pretty well in SimCity 3000. (Ok so it is another genre, forgive me.) All the important stuff was in green or red. Everything else was yellow. And pretty funny as I
