ChaNinja, 2nd and 3rd? That's double special and deserved, and I use TheMasterBaron's Life of Europa as my go-to dream. Judges aren't too shabby either. Thank you for your work, artful stuff.

Yay, fix worked on WinXP SP3!
Keep an eye out soon on Wincustomize for an updated version of the Gargoyle Dream which will have detailed clouds and stars and longer cycletime and animations which I didn't have time to polish for the competition, also with better compression to prevent banding on sky. Thanks again for this everyone! WOOHOO!
I'm looking forward to it, Gargolye is an inspired piece of work and I would love to be a
While cleaning the Windows XP registry, I noticed Sins placed hunders and hundreds of keys related to textures and game assets in this registry key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\ Components\00127AA46723FBF46B58B65D1393963A The data that particular key holds is a directory and file: \Sins of a Solar Empire\Textures\Unit_Hud_CursorOver.tga This continues a few hundred times, with different data. I am using WindowBlinds (XP Pro SP2) with the Leo skin. When I click on the startbutton (pawprint) the lower section of the classic startmenu has a larger font than the items above the dividing line. All of the items above the dividing line have the standard folder icon, all the same size, while the icons below the line are different, such as search and run, etc. When I try to adjust font sizes in WinowBlinds, only those labels above the dividing line adjust, the lower text ite
I am using WindowBlinds for XP SP2, with the "Leo" skin and with the mostly default settings, with transparency and blur, per-pixel, etc. etc. All seems in order except when I leave an OpenGL game, like Jedi Academy for example. Whatever was in the bottom area of the game screen on exit (such as score/health, and data) is still visible in the taskbar, through the transparency. If I drag the taskbar to the side or increase it's size and then resize back to the bottom, it clears
I am using WindowBlinds' random wallpaper feature, for hourly changes. However even though I have properly selected all of the desired wallpapers, and their directories, and "smart" mode, I detect the same sequence of wallpapers. Clearly something is amiss, and I think I have set the proper settings, any suggestions?
I am having just as much trouble as you: 1) The 1.1b patch was hard to find on the website, for unknown reasons. 2) The 1.1b patch refuses to activate 3) Support on this subject has been two fold 1)You're doing it wrong end user, 2) You're still doing it wrong. Not to mention, certain posters reply unhelpfully with admonitions to examine the fine print in the EULA. As if that has any bearing on this issue.<br
I received a reply to my activation email, the reply was "be sure to enter your email into the activation dialog box". Unhelpful, since there are only two fields to enter data, email and code. That's like saying, "Be sure to enter the code". The assumption being the end user made a mistake. I then received a reply to that email when I asserted I'm doing it correctly. the reply was - my already known activation key! ACTIVATE.EXE is not maki
After downloading 1.1b, then installing over a functioning version of 1.0X, (the prior patch), when then clicking on "Play Game" it asks for an email and serial number, which I provide, but it replies Activate.exe cannot communicate to the server, do I wish to activate via email? I then followed the email instructions, and received no reply. I'm still checking for a reply as I write this, nothing. Yet my account creation verification email
