There is no such thing as an 'exploit' in GC2 for the simple fact that the AI can't win a game against a human player. It might make it tough to win (for a while). But that's it. LOL All hail the mighty Precursor10 !! The most powerful force in the universe (well, since captain Kirk hung up his wig and corset!).

I favourite tactic of mine is to rush build a military Starbase, next to planets I'm going to invade. I stockpile some Constructors, check what weapons/defence the enemy has, and then build the Starbase to assist my invasion fleet. This can be a big help. in the early game. Esp. as the AI seems to concentrate on one weapon/defence tech. I think this is a bit cheesey and perhaps the building of Starbases modules needs to be slowed down a bit and the building of these next to AI plan

Niggles are what keeps good games from being great games. Niggles are what keeps GC2 from, in my estimation, reasonably having a score of over 90%. This game did get excellent reviews, have you not noticed these? <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-T

People are entitled to an opinion, and the points made made Quitch are certainly detailed. But for me, the game is a LOT of fun. This means I'll live with minor niggles, and I don't think anything other than minor niggles have been mentioned here. (I haven't palyed the campaign as having too much fun creating my owns games)! For instance, noting that you can't see your Logistics Points for ships and your Logistics ability without a bit of effort.. Yes, seeing this at a glance wou

After playing several games, I now pity the Poor Drengin. They always seems to pick a fight with every other race, and end up getting annihilated pretty early in the game. I usually wait till their fighting several races, and then join in and 'cherry pick' their best planets. They're like the school bully who gets his just deserts! They've only survived one

Good post I agree. For the amount of time and money it can take to build up a Starbases att/def, as stated above, it has no chance of survival in the mid/late game. Planets also become hard to defend. A counter-attack seems to always be the best way to defend - but the AI isn't really able to handle this. Offense becomes way too powerful as techs progress, and it can

All in all, I've been very impressed with this game and the maturity of the forum posts and community. But... after reading lots of threads I've compiled my top 5 'tard' posts which gave me the most laughs and or annoyance:- 1) The moon is orbiting the wrong way on the game map ..... this is really funny. What an oversite! 'nough said. 2) Why are there other stars etc, in the background when this is a map of the galaxy......
