Seen a "Disable AI Surrender Option" thread like this before. I still agree with and support this wholeheartedly. PLEASE Stardock make this an option in our gameplay for Big Game Hunters like me. [e digicons]

[quote who="Wrath89" reply="15" id="3013690"] Quoting Halfamigo, reply 142)I agree. Every time I find myself in a duel between my fleet and an enemy fleet of equal or superior power I hit the menu button then issue orders to my ships on who to shoot first (Caps and healers) and order my healers to stop fighting and save my Caps from blowing up. Seriously this pausing can be a feature for single player games against the AI. Maybe an elected few seconds pause for MP. This
1) DEFINITELY!!! Just in a previous play through I had my fleet run through the loaded pirate base when I swore I manually plotted their jump path around it. Fortunately, I only lost a few frigates while passing through. 2)I agree. I agree with OP on having a on/off toggle at the Setup Screen. I still haven't patched my game yet since this feature came out. I suppose some see it as butt kicking Big Game Hunters so to make Rushers outta them. However, I prefer building up my planets and then attacking. Having fun with all the features not just Spam, Smash, Done rush games. So I hope Stardock makes a on/off switch soon so I can get back to patching my game with the latest features
Dang it I too been wondering if there was somewhere a No AI Surrenders Mod. I like fighting my opponents to the bitter end and hate it when they surrender. I dislike when my opponents surrender when they have an entire star system to themselves. It makes the game more fun seeing my enemies' enemies come back from the brink once I campaign against our mutual opponent as well. I'm a Big Game Hunter so like long games. I hope that Stardock might consider adding a
I think Stardock should put Outposts in the game. They'd work identically to barren Asteroids in terms of mechanics (making them easy to apply to the game): 0 Population: This isn't a colony now. 1 colonization upgrade: Hey the crew need somewhere to sleep. 1 shelters upgrade: The crew quarters need some protection against vacuum. 2 explore: Not sure how it would work. Maybe for allowing race specials (explained below) & random finds. 0 logicstics: Again
How do you get them to appear in a game? Do they appear based on number of players? The size of a game? I've wanted to obtain all of them but I can never find all of them. Am I just missing them? (Yes I do explore planets 100% BTW) Thanks for your help! :)
Nice! Thanks man I'll be trying this out. Keep up with the story! Don't leave it here.
Hehe... something similar happened to me as well. I conquered the Dreadlords at one game and I obtained Quantum Torpedoes Tech. Needless to say, the galaxy became mine very easily!
I think what might also help is to "turn off surrenders".
hmmm, not gonna lie, was kinda hoping for a bit more responsiveness maybe I'll have to kill off my doctor, team leader, and some tertiary characters for dramatic effect in the hopes of boosting ratings <IMG id=ImageResize_Image_7 src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Laugh.gif" onload=ImageResizer.createO
Hey Kryo man what's up? I'm just posting to let it be known what was the prob on my part so other fools like me can benefit from learning from my mistake. What happened was I bought the game Galciv2 Gold Edition and tried to update the serial from the launch window. However, what happened was I made the mistak
First off thanks for the reply. I went into Stardock Central. Clicked Games. Clicked Galciv2. Clicked Dark Avatar (Exp). Then clicked update button. But instead of a download I got sent to "https://www.galciv2.com/Purchase.aspx" where the website trying to sell me the game.
Howdy fellas! I seem to have a slight problem with being unable to FIND where to download Patch 1.6! Now I've checked for 3 hours. Looked on Stardock Central. Spent surfing the Forums for "Patch 1.6". Now, if someone can point to EXACTLY where a download link for this patch is I would be SO happy! Thanks for those that reply with the info I need.
Does anybody know how to start the game in cheat mode in Windows XP? I found a webpage that says to add an extra command line outside the command line. But in Windows XP there is no quotes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for help.
