I'm thinking I will keep taking minor races until I fill up all the races. Currently I have added in the Carinoids, the Akilians, and the Scottlingas. I know I will be adding the Paulos, Snathi, and the Dark Yor. I think they will be replace Terrans, Drengin, and Yor respectively. I think the only problem will be the icons being the same for some races. If you want to make some icons for some of the races that are repetitive in all but color, they would be appreciated.

Oh, and if you know where the text when you cantact people (IE, Terrans contacting Altarains. I don't want the Paulos or whoever to suddenly be considered cousins by the Carinoids.

I've been wondering, what would it be like to be a minor race? Now, you can know. I am making a mod that will reverse the minor and major races. I've currently only done one race, the Carinoids are switched with the Altarians. I'm gonna switch the Snathi with the Drengin. What races should be switched with which?

Problem with save file? in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I got 1.1 yesterday and ran my 1.1 beta 4b game I had been playing. I then ran it earlier today. But now, I try to load my game and it doesn't work! Just to make sure it was a save file problem, I loaded a different game (an auto save of the same game, sadly it's too far away from my current position in the game) and it worked fine. It might just be my older computer not having enough power to load it, but here's my debug.err: Debug Message: Version v1.1 last updated on: Mon Apr 24 1

It takes me forever to load a game anyway. But I have an old computer. Something I would try is, from what I can tell for what you did, install the patches in the correct order. I put in 1.0X with the special stuff and the CE stuff first. Then put in the 1.1 patch. It might just be that. When I got GalCiv 1 Altarian Prophesy it was the same kinda thing.

I didn't upgrade a type of ship, I made a new one. I didn't actually buy any of the ships, just made a new one. Unless taking everything opff of a ship, completely rebuilding it, renaming it, and then seeing in the shipyard that they were two different ships still upgraded them. I don't even know how to just upgrade a style (and usually don't want to so I can use the older ships in later games). It was just kinda random.

Someone press the negative button on my taxes? in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I was working on just buying things, and I got to around -235 bc. I then went in to the shipyard and made a new ship. I go back into the map, and my money is at -22354 bc! That's about where I started before I started buying things, but it had been in the positive. I don't have a debug.err or a save (the auto save happened the turn before). I just thought something was wrong and I decided to post it.

I voted for it so I can play with my family and friends over a LAN connection (or internet if they get it). Since we're friends I don't think people would disconnect, especiallyif they are sitting behind me in the same room. I just want to be able to play my friends over LAN.

I was playing a game, and two races were dead. I had just killed one. Anyway, I was thinking that it would be awsome if the Minor races could become major races when they have a hyperdrive and have met a major race. That way the UP wouldn't be lacking in races after you kill off a major race.

Problem making a new ship in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Okay, I was making a new ship and I used an invalid character and tried to save. It did not give me a warning that I couldn't use it. I gave up after two tries, and it forwards to the next turn. I then get a "You can't use that" message (my ship no longer exists) and it tries to make me name and describe it. After I do this the game crashed. Just wanted to report it.

Sorry, I meant the text after the game has loaded and you can start playing. For the Dregians it's something like, "Greetings, brothers and sisters!" That thing. Any idea where that would be?
