This feels weird, for EaW I help people like me for this game... Anyway, how do you edit the text that comes up when you load the game. Just when you open a saved game or a new game. Any help would be great.
But he can't use it since it auto updates the game. And the game isn't on the internet computer.
Or while in game if you have acess to it you can just click delete in the shipyard window.

The game only takes place in a certain part of the galaxy, not the whole thing. So having the entire galaxy visible wouldn't work.
I hate the Arceans. I asked them for help with fighting the Iconians, and they said that my threat was understood at that we are now at war with them, but in the Diplomacy they weren't at war. The only race that helped me was my ally. Speaking of which, my favorite AI to have in a game is Drath Leigion. They always are trading with me and helping me more then others.
What? Star Port or Star Base? Star base you upgrade by sending another constructor to the station. You don't ugrade the port.

This happeend to me too. It went away after a turn, I think it was for the above reason.
I want MP, I just bought this game on impulse (I was looking for something in space to play, saw this, asked the guy at EB, he said everyone and their grandmother wanted it), and was surprised when I didn't see any MP. This game would have a perfect setup for MP, it just fels like it's missing something. I'm just playing and the game crashes. It's done it twice. It just crashes while the AI is doing something. I was in a battle, right clicked on my ship, and everything went white that wasn't a button, planet, star, and ship. I shrunk down my game to get at a screen capture program, but it fixed itself. I know this could be just me, it's happened on other games, but if others get this it should be looked into.

Same as above, it just doesn't appear.
I.e. create a custom race, save it, then play against it. I've been wanting to fight against the race I made, so saving it and fighting it would be great.
Yeah, beta 3 has only a few problems that were there at release. Just misspellings, though, that I've seen.

Something I've noticed in the beta is that it will say that I'm making negative money, but I lookt as the actual total being made and it's posotive. Then the next turn it's back to green. Kinda annoying to see.

What is the best thing to do with military? I am playing a game where I have worked on most everything, and if I haven't then I bought it from others. What do you suggest for getting a good military? I'm trying to fight the Drengians (sp?) and I have one of the lowest military ratings. How do you get a good military? I have the weakest ships in the game. I just need tips on how to get a good military. I'm using the latest beta.

What I really want for the UP is having it meet not just in December. Just random times every year. UP is one of my favorite parts of the game, and I think random times every year would be great. And getting to choose what to vote on.
I agree that the range is too high right now, I hope the 1.1 patch fixes it.
I got the /n problem while looking at Earths description when it mentioned the Arceans. And I got the [CIVNAME] problem with a person on Earth talking about the Terran Alliance.
