my ini 'name' matches the folder name, The .ini needs to be labeled as "bootskin.ini". Not your folder name. I've saved out my b
On the submissions page, there is an option that asks if you want this skin to show up on your gallery only. My guess is you checked this.
i used photoshop to convert my image to a 16-bit image but i cant save it as a .BMP file. Bootskin's have to be 4-bit (16 colors). How can i make my image into a 16-bit .bmp image file? </table
Right-click the tabbed dock > Dock Settings > General tab > Advanced Options > under General Extra Options make sure to check "Automatically active mouseovered tab when using autohidden tabbed docks". This is not offered for a non hidden tabbed dock as of now...hopefully in future versions.
Too outrageously insane to be feasable. Those people need help. Bebi...I think I love you.
I'm just trying to clarify...taskbar images don't work with running taks on a dock, or Taskbar images don't work on mouse over on the taskbar? The latter works fine for me. Previews for running tasks on the dock does not...not that I've ever tried it before 1.5
How would payment be enforced? This is absolutely ridiculous.
Open WB config. > User Overrides > make sure everything under the "Font Overrides" section is set to default or set to leave it alone.
Sysmetrix and Rainlendar is what they are. Both by him I believe...anyway there are two version of systmetrix...Just search for Artwork under the respective galleries and you'll find them. Both programs are Freeware!
When commenting on a skin (not in the forums) I usually change the font and size, then insert a smiley and start typing again. Upon insertion of the smiley, my custom font and text size settings are set to the smiley font and size, which is very small. I then have to set the custom font and size again. Settings: font = Georgia size = 2

You'll need to have DesktopX installed for that theme to work. Once installed, just cut/paste the theme file into C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX\Themes\. This directory might be different if you don't have ODNT.
Right-click the dock > select the General Tab > uncheck the option stating "Hide the windows Taskbar".
I confused??? If you want to get rid of bootskins that are loaded in Stardock's BootSkin program, then go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\WinCustomize\Bootskin\Skins\ and find the folder of the bootskin you want gone and delete it. I can't help ya if you want to delete skins from another bootscreen program.
Great read for a novice!
I'm assuming you have SDC installed, but if not then download it here... Stardock Central . Once in SDC go to Tools > Settings > General Tab > make sure "Enable MCP Startup" and "Enable MCP notification support" is checked. Then go and create a systray dock. If that doesn't work, try running the file linked below, then create the tray dock. MCP Link
I would contact [email protected] because the option is still available.
The link you gave was a .suite file format, which requires "Theme Manager" Island Dog's first link in reply #1. If you don't have Theme Manager you can still load just the WindowBlind since you just downloaded WindowBlinds. Follow the link below for the WB skin. Vista Plus
This is probably due to the Hotspot settings you have chosen. Open the tabbed dock settings by right-clicking it and selecting dock settings. Now click on the Hotspots tab. There are two things you can due to correct this, first you can completely take the hotspot away so it will never happen, or you can set the delay to maximum, but then you'll still have the dock pop up if you keep your mouse down there long enough. To completely take the hotspot away, just click th
I love that Cursor! It has to be one of the best animated cursors I've seen. That tree will be a great addition to my Christmas theme! Good choices here!
If you're not speaking of a tabbed dock, then did you uninstall the Free Version of Object Dock before upgrading? If not, uninstall Object Dock Plus through Stardock Central . Once done, click Start > Run > and copy/paste this including all characters, %userprofile%/Local Settings/Application Data/Stardock/ once here, delete all Object Dock Folders. Now install Object Dock Plus through SDC.
