Advantage of being good? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

During the ethical choice events, it seems everytime it's never advantegous to choose the good option. So the big question is...why would anybody wants to play as good? (aside from the obvious advantage...like other good race are nicer to you) Would we only read the rewards of being good only if we reserach "good and evil"? Or...are there hidden bonusses that is not obvious and untold?...like maybe although we loose money to save

Update: I changed my resolution and now i can see the whole interface. Very werid. my resolution was set to 1280x1024 (my native windows res) and i changed it to 1600x1280 and now it's working correctly.

This bug is for the demo version released on GameSpot Problem: 1. In the "event" screen such as when we colonize new planet...there are 3 ethical choices to make. The interface for choosing is broken for me. To select, i must click a little bit to the right of the ethic symbols...then my done button will be enabled.
