research queue and ownership icons... in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

Is there a way to change the priority of items in the research queue after they are queued up? Also, is there a way to make ownership icons on ships dissapear? i have unchecked the option for showing ownership icons for meshes in cenimatic mode but they still seem to show up over ships :(
