For the ones feeling like cheating I can tell ya that god mode is totally obtainable. All it requires is for you to choose a pregenerated race and play with that, + a little bit a modding ofc. This game is so damn easy to mod though so it won't be a biggie. Just go into your GalCiv2 / Data / English folder find the RaceConfig.XML file and use Word to open it up. Well, I totally agree with Lonemessiah. Difference is I'd say it ain't cheesy... its downright cheating. Sorry mate, but you gotta deal with what the game gives ya. And for the quicksaves, yeah they're nice, but don't use them just to get the edge. Personally I use them in case my cat rips the power off my PC >.< (Yeah, it happened....).
